Like. Exactly. Afaik most of the issues with U.S. society (I specifically bring this up bc that's what I'm familiar with, don't quote me on this re: other countries), is NOT our economic system but that our government has been corrupt for a longass time, major corporations have insufficient oversight, and our social safety nets are poorly designed. Thing is, these ARE fixable, but doing so without major risk of societal collapse would be a long, arduous process and you'd need to get someone WAY smarter than me on that.

Sadly you can't point these out without someone thinking the solution to these problems is to try to recreate the Soviet Union (which is a terrible idea because. I mean just look how it went over the first time) or dismissing everything you say out of hand because they think YOU want Soviet Union 2.

You guys should talk about your ghost experiences if you have them actually, and want to share that is. I’m so curious.

#my parents had a black cat that our old landlord gave to us as a kitten when I was like. 6 or so.#she lived to about 10 but had to be put down bc she had chronic acid reflux that destroyed her digestive system #and every so often I'd see this little cat-shaped blob of darkness scamper down the hallway #or like a pair of flickery dots a la eyeshine in my parents' closet where she spent the last few days of her life #I'm not the only one who's seen her either #my brother did too but not as frequently #and when I was packing up to move out of my parents' house my friend/now-roommate said she saw a hazy black cat-shaped lump on my bed #in that 'i wanna see what the humans are doing' pose #there was also the fucked up evil porcelain doll my (crazy evangelical) grandmother gave me bc at the time I collected dolls like that #that thing gave me sleep paralysis where I'd see it skittering around the furniture in my room while looking me right in the eyes #which lasted till we put it in storage #ironically it didn't look haunted/evil at all it wasn't like Annabelle Conjuring #it was actually made to look like Betty Boop lol #reblob

Have we finally learned who the three figures drawn on the card in Sans's lab are?

Even if the reason why Sans has this card turns out to be incredibly simple, doesn't this also confirm that Sans Undertale = Sans Deltarune?

At first, this discovery felt incredibly ironic, since for years we tried to find a much deeper meaning behind who these three figures were and why Sans kept this card in the first place. We thought about Gaster, timelines, parallel worlds, and with the release of Deltarune, we even considered both of the possibilities above

And in the end, the reason why THIS SPECIFIC MESSAGE exists on a card with THIS SPECIFIC TRIO was something as simple as a reminder to offer a discount

On the other hand, the fact that Sans still keeps it with him could be his way of refusing to forget the people, the place... and of not letting the world he once saw as his home disappear

After all, Deltarune keeps returning to the same theme in almost every chapter. Someone trying to make things go back to the way they used to be, unable to let go of the past. Only to eventually learn that some things can't be restored, and that the best thing you can do is simply let go

My sister-in-law (husband’s sister) was supposed to get married this fall but due to some immature/concerning behavior by her fiancé, the wedding and engagement were called off. (I don’t want to be too specific, but there were sudden red flags, followed by his sudden decision that he wanted to postpone the wedding months or years despite the fact that most of it was paid for already).

I explained the delicate situation to my mom, as my sister-in-law is letting the news get out by word-of-mouth from the immediate family rather than an awkward “unsave-the-date”. My mom obviously told my own family.

Apparently my dad was so angry by the behavior of this guy that in the lunchroom at work he made everybody listen to the whole story (censoring names and identifying details) and said “I’m not crazy, right? This guy sucks!” And then reported back to me all his different coworkers that agreed this guy sucks, as well as their variety of ages/genders to indicate widespread consensus.
