Listen this is why Xander got into construction work in sunnydale it was honestly the smartest thing he did in the whole series. Construction pays pretty well and in Sunnydale there is literally so much demon related damage on top of normal damage that he is never out of work. plus it allows him to do more for the scoobies. Like fixing up buffys house when they get windows and doors broken. Its actually a fucking shame they didn't focus on that as a bigger part of his character its often treated as a throwaway thing of convenience.
