I know many of you have already liked and reblogged this post, but I'm going to attach a couple of links for resources on how to contact payment processors and whatnot. Hopefully they can get spread around a bit. It includes how to contact the payment processors, scripts, and various links to other (at the time ongoing, these websites haven't been updated in about 8 months and 1 year respectively) petitions and forms that might be useful to you.

I'd also like to ask people to be willing to bring this conversation into spaces where things like "politics" aren't welcome and more forcefully draw attention to the ever growing issue of censorship. Some of you may only have those communities to draw on but we've long since run out of peaceful/polite/non-disruptive options.

the difference with dr robby's suicidal tendencies between season 1 and 2 and why so many people are watching each ep with more and more dread is not 'omg he's so much more openly suicidal than before' it's that he's exhibiting all of the signs of someone who has actively decided and committed to a plan to kill themselves in the immediate future.
He's happier, lighter, he's saying goodbye to everyone, he's making sure all of his things are accounted for when he's gone. resolving interpersonal conflict in relationships to avoid lingering guilt/making amends. and yes some of these actions overlap with the behaviors of someone finally going on vacation (dr. robby is a smart man), but with each new episode that comes out you see more and more that his goodbyes feel less like a 'I'll see you later' and more like 'it was nice knowing you.'
he actively avoids looking at abbott or responding when he tries to reach out and tell him that he can talk to him if things get too much when he's gone (and this is the man who literally talked him off a ledge last season) bc he cant’t look abbott in the eye and lie to him. you don't ask your underling/coworker to housesit and then allude that 'actually if i die you can just have it i'm giving you my blessing!'.
the sabbatical feels less like a vacation and more like an adjustment window for everyone to get used to him being gone in the least traumatizing way he can think of

you have fallen for AI before. even if you don’t believe you could ever fall for AI, you very more than likely have at this point. you have scrolled past an AI generated ad not realizing it was AI. you’ve seen a drawing online and thought “oh that looks cool,” not realizing it was not created a person. i’m not saying this to scare you, but i am saying it as a reminder that you are not immune to how realistic AI is becoming
being fooled by AI is similar to cults in the way that the more self-assured you are that you could never fall for AI the more susceptible you make yourself to it. intelligence has nothing to do with it, its all about blind spots. you must be dubious of images and videos in the same way we were about photo-editing in the late 00's and 2010s. understanding what is AI will become more about the source it comes from rather than the content itself

ik everyone's scared that they're gonna make pombon bipedal in its final evolution but i think it would be great if browt became a quadruped
Contrary to popular belief the biggest beginner's roadblock to art isn't even technical skill it's frustration tolerance, especially in the age of social media. It hurts and the frustration is endless but you must build the frustration tolerance equivalent to a roach's capacity to survive a nuclear explosion. That's how you build on the technical skill. Throw that "won't even start because I'm afraid it won't be perfect" shit out the window. Just do it. Just start. Good luck.
no matter how long you do it or how good you get you will always get to a point where you start to see the limitation of your skills. it will gut you and make you question everything you've made and frustrate you to no end to the point you may even regress. but the only thing standing between you and your idols is time and the willingness to push through the growing pains of improvement. you have to love doing it more than you love being good at it
