In his latest collection, on show at London Fashion Week (LFW), Christopher Raeburn has continued his trademark “detailed yet functional” look, throwing into the mix military fabrics contrasting with a wearable soft pink that has seemingly been ever present on the Women’s catwalk shows of LFW this past week. 

The collection is a definite highlight from this season’s shows and a welcome return to accessible menswear. 

In keeping with the current trend for tartan, Lyle & Scott have decided to take a little trip down memory lane with their latest Classic Vintage A/W collection. The brand is paying homage to it’s 139 year Scottish heritage using it’s Scott Tartan across a range of shirts, roll necks and polos for a contemporary appearance.

As Ramadan begins, more than 100 hunger-strikers in Guantánamo Bay continue their protest. More than 40 of them are being force-fed. A leaked document sets out the military instructions, or standard operating procedure, for force-feeding detainees. In this four-minute film made by Human Rights organisation Reprieve and Bafta award-winning director Asif Kapadia, US actor and rapper Yasiin Bey (formerly known as Mos Def), experiences the procedure.
