I made this photo in the parking lot of the strip shopping mall on my block. About 2 years ago, the tore down the old one and rebuilt a more fancy one, with lots more places to eat.
I walk past this at least once a week, but only the other day did I realize how visually interesting it could be. So, I made 8 photos and wound up with a few I like. BTW, red is my favorite color. And of course, black and white and gray are up there, too.
Wonder what Mondrian and YSL (the designer created the elegant Mondrian inspired shift dresses in 1965; see this page, full of info and photos about the dresses and Mondrian's work) would think of this?
