🌊 Korra and Asami are already a couple in this scene. Korra is unsure if bringing a strange person back to ATI is such a good idea. But, she was concerned that leaving them to run around the earth kingdom unchecked was worse.

Scene: Conversation between Asami and Korra after Korra returns from a trip bringing with her a curious stranger who is now staying at Air Temple Island. -------

“Should I be worried?” Asami asks, her brow furrowed.

“No. I am the avatar, after all.” Korra tried to reassure her.

“But you think she’s a mind-bender,” Asami said to the point. Korra didn’t respond. Asami sighed. “Does that mean I’ll be seeing less of you now?”

Korra hadn’t thought of that. She was happy focused on just seeing Asami again. She groaned. “Maybe you can come to the island more often?”

“Oh yeah, sure, so we can make love in Tenzin’s guest bedroom.”

“Ugh!” Korra shook her head, trying not to picture Tenzin knocking on the door.

“Well, it might not seem weird if everyone knew about us,” Asami fished. 

They both thought the same thing in unison, but Korra said it aloud. “No, it would still seem pretty weird.” They both laughed. They were planning on telling everyone soon, but both agreed they wanted to have their world be for themselves for a bit longer. It was also exciting to sneak around, daring themselves to get caught. It was quite the aphrodisiac.

“Do you need to leave now?” Asami asked.

Korra smiled. “Not this second.” “Good.” Asami rose and held out her hand. She pulled Korra up and planted a steamy kiss on her. Then they walk hand in hand to the bedroom.

Scene: Asami’s workshop, Republic City. After Asami and Korra’s first kiss, Asami has an idea.

After the kiss, they touched their foreheads together. Then they both smiled and giggled a little.

“Come on,” Asami said and pulled Korra up the stairs at the back of the shop. “I had a tiny apartment put in since I sometimes work on projects that keep me here late.” They walked through a room that looked like an office and then through another door. Korra first noticed the subtle smell of jasmine lingering in the air. The simple one-room studio had a bed in front of a large multi-glass window. The glass panes were different colors, and some were translucent, which cast a playful light in a soft glow on the bed.

“This is nice,” Korra commented as Asami guided her to sit on the bed. “Shut up and come here,” Asami said playfully. She gently placed her hands on the sides of Korra’s face, softly stroking her cheeks with her thumbs and getting ready to bring her hungry lips against Korra’s again.

“Spirits!” Asami said.

“What did I do?” Korra leaned back a little, feeling panicked.

Scene: Korra returned from a trip. She and Asami catch up over tea at Asami’s apartment. -------

Korra smiled remembering every bit of their first time together. Soon they’ll be sharing their union with their friends, and things will be different.

“Are you blushing?” Asami looked over from the other side of the couch.

“Just thinking about the first time we made love,” Korra admitted and smiled.

Asami smiled too. “You know, my heart almost leapt out of my chest seeing you for the first time after those three long years. I tried very hard to maintain my composure that day, and every day after, until our first kiss.”

Scene: Korra reminisces about her and Asami’s first kiss. 

Korra reflected on the day things changed for her and Asami. It was a rainy day. The kind that could chill you to the bone. She decided to help her at her workshop, or that was the reasoning she used just to see her again. She longed for her companionship, and they repeatedly missed opportunities to see each other because they were both so busy.

Korra handed Asami her tools while she worked on her motorcycle. She didn’t know anything about bikes, and Asami gave her a quick lesson on tools and engines, but she didn’t really care about the task. She was just content to be there.

It took longer than expected to fix the bike because they couldn’t stop talking. Finally, when Asami said she needed a break, they stood up and stretched. She glanced at Korra. There was a dark streak on her cheek. Asami laughed. “You have grease on your face. Let me get that.” She wiped her hand on her overalls, then reached up to Korra’s jawline and slowly wiped it away. 

Korra noticed that Asami’s attempt at cleaning her cheek became a soft caressing touch in the end. Without thinking, she moved forward and kissed Asami on the lips. Then, realizing what she had done, she quickly stepped back, eyes wide. “I’m sorry!” she said, then looked down, her face getting hot with embarrassment.

A Korrasami Morning

“How do you do it?” Korra asked, sitting up in bed.

Korra looked so serious that Asami stopped what she was doing. “How do I do what?”

“Look so magnificent the second you get up every morning!”

Asami smirked. "Well, I can ask you the same thing."

Korra looked at her disheveled shorts and tee shirt, the one that had the stains from dropping plum stew on it several times over. She could tell her hair was a tousled nest on her head. “Oh, please. You’re not serious!”

“I want to know how you are so adorable 24 hours a day,” Asami replied. 

“Even when I’m fighting bad guys?” Korra scowled. She made fists and punched the empty air.

“Well, no,” Asami quickly replied. She walked to the foot of the bed and raised one eyebrow.

“That’s when you’re incredibly sexy!” Asami launched herself onto the bed, tackling Korra against the pillows. She quickly pinned her down and gave Korra a smug smile. 

"Magnificent." Korra said with her lopsided smile.
