Going Grocery Shopping in a Pandemic AU This was spawned by a conversation with @ifyouwereamelodymeg about modern AUs… I usually don’t partake in them (my mind wants to dwell in a fantasy world with magic elemental powers for a reason lol), and I find drawing them to not be pleasurable because I honestly don’t know what modern style is and that stresses me out XD While I am personally more comfortable with vintage style because there is a bit more structure and lots of research one can source, these days anyone can dress however they want (which is great!), but therein, it comes with a whole bunch of subcultures and styles I frankly cannot keep up with. So when I was talking to Meg, I brought up how fashion intimidates me and how my only conception of “modern style” is that I wear a Tee shirt and leggings when I’m not dressing vintage to which she responded “Leggings and a T-shirt is such a Jam”. She brought up the idea that a modern woman like Katara would rock the look. XD It got me thinking… I guess they don’t need to be “fashionable”, but they can be comfortable. So here’s me channeling whatever the heck 20-something modern Zuko and Katara might wear out and about. Can you tell I shop at Trader Joe’s a lot?
