Mami: Why are you even here, Aibou?

Fides: I'm here for you.

Mami: *blushing* W-what?

Fides: *turns to her* Like I've said before, I died, you've seen the scars.

Mami: *flinches and looks away*

Fides: *gently cups her cheek and makes her look at him as he smiles gently at her* You are the reason I gave up heaven, Aibou.

Mami: *wide eyed and blushing*

Fides: When I died, I was given a choice, to go to heaven or to come here. They told me how alone you were, how much you were hurting. I couldn't look myself in the mirror if I didn't try to help you.

Mami: *tilts her head into Fides' hand and brings her hands ups to keep it there*

Fides: The Highest Judge of Paradise herself gave me my soul gem and told me to go help. Will I see my family again, I don't know. But I do know this, I would rather spend my time with you and build wonderful memories dedicated to the two of us.

Mami: *let's go of Fides' hand steps forward and presses herself against him as she hugs him*

Fides: *hugs Mami back* I've said it a hundred times before and I'll say it a billion more times, I'm yours for as long as you'll have me.

Mami: Just as I am yours for as long as you'll have me.

Fides: Then we are each others for as long as we're alive, Beloved.
