I also happen to specialise in gambling addiction (although I'm not practicing in that area right now), and all I could fucking think about was how these fucking apps were conditioning me in the same fucking way gambling apps do. To be constantly plugged in, consuming. To not even think about just picking it up and having a look. To feel bored when I wasn't watching them, to think about watching them when I wasn't watching them....

That shit is fucking evil.

I deleted it. I'm not exposing myself to that.

That shit will fry your dopamine/reward system so fucking bad you will never read a book or watching a movie again without it.

Love yourself and your potential enough to put that fucking shit away. Watch longer form things that require focus and engagement. Listen to podcasts and audiobooks. Read books. DO ANYTHING BUT CONSUME SHORT FORM CONTENT IN AN UNSTRUCTURED WAY.

If you MUST consume it (I'm sure people will be like 'but my classmates' or 'but my own channel'.... etc), do it in a siloed and structured way. 30 minutes between x time and x time on x day. Focus on it. Don't eat and do it. Watch each short form video to completion. Engage critically with the content. ANd never watch them first thing in the morning or last thing at night.

💥Oh man you really had me think about this one. In Zelda's case I would say it was the fact that she had to hide herself and be in the line of fire for seven years under Ganondorf's regime while waiting for Link to awaken. For Link, it would be the fact that he had to accept Majora's game and wield the power of a demon god within himself that could have ended up badly and caused him to be another puppet like skull kid just for the chance to return to her.

💔 This one also had me thinking about it for a solid minute. Because while on one hand one could argue being sent back would be that "fight" that almost ended them, they never really fought about it. So instead I thought about it more and I think if they were to have a fight that almost had them separate, it would be in a similar vein to being sent back- Link having to be sent away on a mission he doesnt want to go on because he is tired of leaving, and Zelda doesnt want him to go but also knows that she cant defy the king's orders and knows that if she tries to disagree it could end up worse and they fight about it because Link feel like he's being pushed away without so much of a defense and Zelda cant choose between love and her role as a princess. They stew in their emotions for a bout a day before talking about it again and end up with a conclusion that would the both of them which in this case would be to try and keep Link in Hyrule but promoting him to be Zelda's personal guard (which the king wouldn't really fight on because who better suited to protect his daughter than the hero himself?) and then when zelink further their relationship he can retire..

🎂Link's birthday would be celebrated with a small gathering of friends, filled with his fav food and ending with the two of them stargazing. Zelda's birthday would be Link ttaking her on a surprise getaway every year to Lake Hylia, or Termina or wherever near the evening and have a small picnic with a slow dance.

The push for the infantilization of women to not only be seen as normal, but desired because the world is oh so stressful and hard so just let your man take control of you and your life, is propaganda. Life is being made difficult and hard on purpose. The rise of incel misogyny culture is on purpose. The rise of trad wife infantilization of women is also on purpose. The rise of divinity feminine and masculine, be in your femininity blah blah blah, is also on purpose.
