These emmerdale producers clearly have their favourites and only those characters are allowed to relate current situations to their back stories. Graham is given all this nuance and care about losing his wife and child. Whereas these writers/producers can’t even be bothered to make the basic link between Robert’s stress about these fires and the trauma of losing his mum in a fire. I would rather they didn’t care about any of the characters but clearly some characters are worthy of a power point presentations and some are not. I resent that especially when action man, the answer to everybody’s problems Graham is so dire.

Also the pacing is soooo bad, Matty just showed up and was mean to Robert and left! Like what? 😂 There were so many opportunities to mention Sarah when Robert was talking about his fears of them being burnt to death but nothing. These writers kill the life out of these stories, everything is so repetitive. I’m watching out of habit at this point.

I like that robron got to smile today and they looked good but I think this fire storyline is a bit naff unless they delve into Robert’s obvious PTSD and I bet they won’t even mention him losing Sarah. So, I just don’t know where it’s all going. I miss their cuteness and obvious flirting I even miss the angst! It’s all very two best mates having homophobic banter, mate, mate, mate. I wish I could enjoy it more, believe me.

I genuinely forgot to tag negativity to my posts. I’m sorry for upsetting people. Now I remember why I don’t post so much. I wish we could all disagree without taking it so personal. I don’t think how the writers are portraying robron is great. I’m annoyed about all the wasted opportunities and I have very little faith they will improve things but I still love them so will keep watching but not as much I guess.

Also, the spoilers sound good but it’s fool me once and I don’t believe Aaron will show any “concern” for Robert - it will mostly be about Cain’s cancer again as everything around Robron is now days. They won’t be allow to react to anything - it will be someone else’s story. Although I am happy for Kammy.
