Anyways Lay/ Yixing officially left SM but for everyone who didn’t see the long Weibo statements the gist is that as of right now he has not left EXO only SM, but he’s very grateful to SM and they part on extremely good terms. From the statement it seems like he left SM but is planning a joint business venture with SM in China. It says “future projects I will explore with SM” so it’s very likely he’s planning something alongside SM but as another CEO not a signed artist.
