Calling it now that Serena is a therapist. Kev saw her in prison when he was receiving counselling but wasn't actually her 'client', maybe they just passed each other a few times. She knows of John because she was working for the same helpline as Paddy but only found out they were related when it came out in the news. She's pretending she knew him out of her own curiosity to find out more and thinks saying that she knew him will make people more likely to open up to her about it
She definitely has something to do with prison, she seemed determined to shut that conversation down. As for the John stuff, unless their absolutely retconning it thereâs no way she can actually know him the way sheâs said she does, nobody had heard of him till he rocked up so he wouldnât of been involved in the family, the Sugdenâs even those that werenât on screen have been in contact with each other over the years thereâs no way none of them wouldnât of told Robert or Vic he existed. Itâs not far fetched she knows what John did, he was a wanted man, there was wanted posters up of him so unless she worked on the same helpline and thatâs how she connected with John, thereâs no way she can know him it makes no sense
yeah but Robert knows how much of a softie he is secretly
He is, but his grumpiness is his well known trait heâs not Aaron without it. If heâs happy and smiling itâs weird đ¤Łđ¤Łđ¤Ł
"He's not always like that" yes he is and that's why you love him!
Literally đđđ Bless him trying to reassure her, but sheâs about to find out he really is like that đ¤Łđ¤Łđ¤Ł
Robertâs âheâs not always like thatâ is hilarious because sir yes he is, heâs literally got a reputation for being grumpy itâs his most known character trait đđđ

Preaching about representation but the show youâre on fires your cast mate who plays your characterâs boyfriend. Must be awkward going to work. But maybe itâs okay because they replaced him with a pansexual father.
This^ I really do feel for Bradley (Vinny), they seemed to be giving Lewis/Vinny promo in feb just for him to axed, now it seems to be fully shifted Lewis/Kev
And yet heâs still praising how good itâs been đ I get their not going to slag off their show whilst their on it, most donât say anything till theyâve left but at some point these actors have to stand up for themselves because itâs getting embarrassing
The flaming whiplash of continuity is just terrible. Last we saw Robert he was paranoid and driving himself insane being sleepless and restless with the fires and Matty had a go at him. Then now he is just alright with the fires, the abuser and Matty is all chill likeâŚ??? I know they werenât really fighting and they are mates so they wouldnât be holding a grudge but like 1 month of nothing in between oh I am glad the fires have stopped but sucks that we havenât found anything yet I DONT KNOW SOMETHING like what the hell was this drop off on a story that was on repeat for weeks. The whole thing just overall succckkkssss so bad!
The fires not happening at the farm has probably helped him chill out, but also that holiday probably did him wonders like it did last time đ Just a shame we donât see the change gradually and he just randomly appears completely fine
Oh, please, I wish they would play up Lewisâ autism more. Letâs see how that will work with having a dad who wonât leave you alone like Kev. Someone who is controlling and disrespects boundaries. Show us, please!
Thatâs what he needs boundaries, but with how fast he gives him a chance I doubt it đ
Thank God Serena (Casey) is a good actress!!!! Makes her scenes bearable because that was my biggest worry I cannot watch terrible acting and that she was going to be a big part of Robron story made me so worried because I donât want to have to not watch them hahahahand also being such a good actress doesnât make her so odd and out of place she really feels like she is revisiting the village if that makes sense not like someone who jumped from a different genre or universe making it so unwatchable. So good luck to her and just from those few days I think the ânominationâ for new comer is deserved because she fits right in with just few scenes doesnât feel awkward or out of place at all !!!
I canât remember the last time a new character rocked up and actually fit in well, not even just with Robert but with others aswell she just genuinely seems to vibe with everyone and sheâs not even been here long but she doesnât even feel like a stranger to people đ God I hope they donât ruin her
You can just see it now. If Mack kills her heâll be hated on for robbing her off justice. But anyone itâs going to be considered âprotecting herâ and how much they care about her đŤŁđ
And this is my issue, the double standards are wild because if Vanessa killed her vanity fans would cheer sheâs protecting her but if it was Mack itâll be oh heâs robbed her of justice? Make your mind up đ
Itâs crazy the double standards they have, but if they actually watched the show itâs very easy to see if Vanessa does kill her it wonât be for what sheâs done to Charity, itâll be for herself more then anything. Sheâll fully make this about her being taken for a fool again, she was crying and getting drunk last year over always being cheated on, sheâs desperate. Finding out sheâs been sharing a bed with a sexual predator will make her even worse. And out of all the characters, Vanessa killing her is one they couldnât cover up and have it make sense. Weâve seen what sheâs like, once sheâs drunk she spills everything thereâs no way she could hold onto that secret without grassing herself up

The way someone really thinks this is giving Mack more power makes me think we all have access to different episodes because what are you watching and how is it giving him power đđđđ.
But I bet if it was Cain going to confront Todd they would be cheering đ and for real am I watching a different show for these idiots đ
Literally. Theyâre all egging on for Vanessa to kill her?
You can just see it now. If Mack kills her heâll be hated on for robbing her off justice. But anyone itâs going to be considered âprotecting herâ and how much they care about her đŤŁđ

His wifeâs been sexually assaulted, he has no idea how to handle it. Nothings heâs doing or saying is making it better like it wouldnât if it was someone else, he has no control of what sheâs going through. Sheâs had a baby with someone else, heâs struggling dealing with that too and literally nothing is going to change the fact sheâs had a child by another man. Is this power in the room with us
The frustrating thing is that none of the storylines involving Todd were actually well written. The workplace bullying sl didn't really make people feel sorry for Jacob because a lot of viewers felt she actually had a point. Jacob kept making mistakes, and doctors can't afford to make errors like that. Then she retired, blamed Jacob for it, dated V for some reason, blackmailed Charity for money, sexually assaulted her, left the village, came back to work as a doctor, and now she's been killed. It all felt like a series of random plot twists, its like they just make things up as they go along instead of planning the character's story properly.
The writing is terrible, and as a doctor yes itâs risky to make mistakes itâs peopleâs lives but heâs also a trainee and making mistakes is going to happen, even qualified doctors make big mistakes so yes she had a point, but she took it to far and people couldnât see it. The fact they thought her blackmailing someone over something they actually did and their in the wrong for was worse then a young lad being bullied is crazy. But itâs not just Jacob, a lot of the audience over the last year have struggled to see the male characters as victims in situations theyâve clearly been victims in itâs so wrong.
I will say the writing, the stories donât even come across as thought out. Itâs like their putting random things into a hat and picking them out, and the writing donât even get me started. Itâs like they write the episodes, film them and release them all in one day. Itâs terrible
The frustration people feel for Charity is purely based on the fact you chose to ignore the obvious that was right infront of you.
This story was never about awareness. When they do storylines like this wanting to raise awareness they do their research, they work with charities wanting to get it right. Theyâve done neither. It was simply a cop out for the baby stuff to be the least important thing and a way for others to not hold Charity accountable for the hurt sheâs caused several people. Because now, every one else looks like the bad guy if they so much as say boo to her. You set yourselves up to be disappointed for not seeing what was very obvious. Now you know how we all feel watching our faves abuser be turned into comedy, itâs not nice when the shoes on the other foot. But unlike you we didnât laugh at Todd, we wanted her to pay and we havenât said Charity deserves this or been on the doctors side calling her a queen.
The double standards people have with certain characters honestly hurts my brain, because the same people complaining that Charityâs story is being made about Mack had nothing to say when Jacobâs story then became about Charity đŤŁ.
Real, what is with these double standards? Jacobâs storyline got completely dropped
They honestly make themselves look stupid, Mackâs making it about himself but when the blackmail stuff started and the sexual assault they didnât say a word about Jacobâs storyline becoming about her and praised the show? Iâm not even a fan of Charity right now, I donât think she deserves whatâs happened itâs just a shame some people are far too childish to have that same mindset.
Robert got blackmailed and he was a snake. Charity got blackmailed and she was a victim. They always see her as a victim even when she isnât. And blaming Mack for making things worse for Charity, the police werenât even charging the doctor? And sheâs also now admitted to lying about Leylaâs parentage to the police too, Charity made it worse for herself the moment she did that and it would be held against her massively and just shows police sheâs no stranger to lying about huge things.

You can be angry Charityâs getting no justice, but you canât only consider characters abusive to suit your narrative but completely ignore it and praise when itâs characters you donât like, because itâs giving âI donât believe victims unless the person does it to meâ attitude.
Mackâs abusive (in your eyes) and deserves to suffer, Toddâs abusive and is getting away with it and youâre complaining. But when itâs Kev youâre laughing at him. Youâre calling him a king, saying he deserves the best. Abuse is abuse, and no abuser deserves redemption.
Charity gets robbed of justice, itâs an issue she deserves better. Robert, Aaron, Bear, Dylan all get robbed of justice from the people who hurt them, or were abusive with them and youâre literally calling them every name under the sun, calling them pathetic, saying they need to get a grip.
your show has had representation in form of one of the best soap couples to ever exist and there has been many more to represent
And have done a much better job at it! đ¤Ł
I don't even know from where he got those comments because from what I remember that ep people were mostly having fun with the herds and ross/cain/mack etc.
Bradley is an attention seeker. He seems like the type that would call up celebrity bloggers, paparazzi and media outlets to tell them âanonymouslyâ where he will be so they can take his picture ⌠đ. But the sad thing is when he gets there, no one is around. đ¤Śââď¸ đ¤Ł
This kind of behavior reminds me of an episode of Real Housewives (canât recall which ⌠trash reality tv is my guilty pleasure lol), where one of the âhousewivesâ was running around a ballroom, screaming bloody murder that one of the ladies was verbally attacking her and chasing her ⌠the camera panned around and there was no one there. đđ¤Łđ¤Łđ¤Łđ¤Ł
He loves the attention itâs clear, paparazzi rarely give af about soap stars unless itâs events or drama in their personal life but if they did he would 100% tip them off.
