She can forgive him and give him chances if she wants, but she can’t expect others too when he’s a reminder of trauma and things people don’t want to remember. She can’t push him and Lewis together, Lewis is terrified for his life and up until this he’s had a relatively normal stable life and Kev’s actions are putting him in danger which isn’t fair on him and he shouldn’t have to forgive him because of DNA. Prison was the most traumatic thing for Robert, he’s never struggled the way he did after that and she can’t expect him to forgive him either, and same with Vinny. He’s an abuse victim by his own Dad, and now his own boyfriend is being held hostage because of his own Dad and suffering consequences of his actions. It’s totally unfair to expect people with trauma who’ve suffered because of someone else to forgive and forget

I don’t remember her ever being involved in that story so I don’t think so? But yes, she definitely would be the kind of person who would if he didn’t do it to a Dingle the show would never let that happen 💀

As much as I found it funny people saying “it’s just a kidnapping and he’s over dramatic” is rather disgusting, he’s already quite an anxious person who sometimes can’t even handle crowds in the cafe, of course he’s going to be scared of someone holding him hostage

I actually feel bad for him, being nominated against who he was at a time he was doing nothing and has no chance to be shortlisted is quite embarrassing for him. But also yeah, I don’t think he’s a strong enough actor for something like this the quieter character he is definitely suits him more.

I get Claudette is one of those god people and their all about forgiveness, but he’s literally not done a single thing besides bake a lemon drizzle to prove he’s a good person and this week allowing Lewis to be in danger too. She’s actually so annoying when it comes to Kev, she’s got the wool over her eyes and she expects everyone else to see the “good side” to him when she’s not even seen it herself.

But I fear with the soap awards being axed, it’s only going to get worse because they’ve got no goal. Even though there’s other things like NTA’s, inside soap awards, tv choice awards their for other things aswell and 99% of the time nominees are for people who aren’t doing much or get nominated before their storyline even begins (like Lewis) so there’s no chance of them winning. The soap awards for them only and they usually nominate the storylines currently going on or ones that were going on during voting times so they know what they need to put forward. They’ve got no end goal now, and this isn’t just emmerdale it’s all soaps I fear they’re screwed without the goal of the awards…

I don’t think they usually care about things like that, I remember back in 2018 when Aaron and Liv went away, Robert stayed home but he was off screen throughout it all and Ryan had been on holiday and when he was back on screen he was fanned despite Robert not going away with them 😅 Tbf they could easily explain it anyway, there’s been a heatwave this year and there’s currently another one haha

It is run by morons 😂 But the probation thing he’s been out a year now and chances are he’s probably not on it anymore, sometimes when people get out they don’t have a long probation period and sometimes it’s over for a year. Usually in Robert’s case getting out after a violent offence his probation period would of been the remainder of his sentence, but because of the whole Luke situation I don’t know how that would work for him since he ended up released and cleared of it. But he probably only had it for a few months to a year since he’s swanned off a couple of times with no probation mentioned so he probably wasn’t on it for long.

Another question I have. All the times they’ve been absent and they’ve never been mentioned, but now they have 😂😂 Maybe they finally took our hint how weird their absences are with certain things and decided to give an explanation for once 😂😂

It’ll fizzle out, it always does. People love things for a certain thing, but when it goes on and on and nothing new it ends up boring the audience. Everyone used to love April, eventually people got bored of her. People are even getting annoyed with Cain now, eventually people will get tired of it 😅
