aaron so often hurts himself to lay it off other people. 2011 he sees how much he's hurting his mum and he doesnt know how to sort himself out and stop her hurting but hurting himself works. it makes me cryyy that he does all this FOR HIS MUM and all his loved ones, to be easier on everyone, to be normal. even this ugly thing of cutting into his own skin, he does it out of such pure selfless kindness & terrible need to be normal
