"Okay, but last week you did all this other stuff, so I know you CAN do more, so I think you're just making excuses?" Ok.

my hill to die on is that if we had some real conversations about what eating disorders are, like, definitionally, a loooooot of people would realize they have eating disorders that should not be normalized

my other hill to die on is that eating disorder treatment is ridiculously inaccessible (monetarily, gender-wise, disability-wise, severity-wise, etc.) and this also does not help with the above problem

In light of recent events, I have begun submitting bug reports when I see mature content labels applied inappropriately to posts, especially if an appeal has been rejected.

for what it's worth: after a few months of submitting help tickets as 'feedback' when i saw a post inappropriately flagged as mature, i tried following this suggestion instead. today i got my first-ever response from tumblr support on this issue, letting me know that a post i'd submitted a ticket before has had its mature content flag removed.

anyone notice how clouds are the most magnificent thing in the world? every time I look up to the sky I am greeted by a delightful surprise. especially when there's different kinds of clouds at the same time. see their size and shape? how the light hits them? passes through them? their subtle hues? the speed of their movement and how they are always shifting, changing, becoming and disintegrating? on a weekly basis they take away my breath and make me love life a little more

When I stand in the sun and suddenly am in shadow for a few seconds I often look up, find the cloud and am like: That was you, wasn't it? :)
