Fan art is low art unless it's really good then it's medium art and if you change the names and the designs enough and make it your own it becomes upper medium art and if you abandon the storytelling mediums entirely to do concept pieces for galleries that's high art and if you get tired of that and start selling prints of adult swim characters smoking weed that's really high art.
