end of the story

Lucifer:

absolutely hates anyone seeing him sneeze. for that reason, hardly anyone has. he’s a master stifler, he can do so without making a sound. the only problem is that they tend to sneak up on him, so he can only stifle if he feels it coming.

definitely a handkerchief man. he keeps one on him just in case, and it’s come in handy on more than one occasion.

his stifled sneezes may be practically silent, but his regular sneezes are somewhat forceful. they come mainly from his throat and he always has to clear his throat afterwards. they aren’t very messy, but he does use his handkerchief for good measure.

always says “excuse me” or “pardon me” afterwards. if someone else makes a big deal about it though, he can and will make them regret it.

isn’t allergic to very much, but certain scents can set him off. diavolo is the only person that knows this, and he knows exactly which colognes are “lucifer-safe” and which ones trigger his allergies.

lucifer has a pretty strong immune system, but it goes completely out the door when he overworks himself. at that point, he can become completely incapacitated for a number of days.

Mammon:

semi-loud sneezes, and he usually sneezes only once. that is, unless he’s sick or allergic to something. in that case, his sneezes get much softer and more kitten-like. because of the drastic change, it’s pretty easy to tell when he’s feeling fine versus a little under the weather.

not embarrassed about sneezing, but he gets really flustered if anyone makes a comment about him being gross or spreading germs. when he’s sick, he tries really hard to keep it contained so he doesn’t infect the others as well. so if anyone mentions him being “gross,” he can get really self-conscious.

really bad at taking care of himself when he’s sick. if he doesn’t have anyone else to look after him, he can and will spend several days under his covers until he runs out of tissues and is forced to get a new box.

i hc that mammon is actually pretty allergic to cats. he’s fine with dogs, but anytime a feline is brought into the house (looking at you satan) he becomes a sniffly, sneezy mess.

mammon can get a little emotional when he’s sick, but only if he has a fever. even a low-grade one is enough to knock his emotions all out of whack and make him feel even worse.

absolutely loves being taken care of, but he gets extremely shy. he doesn’t like being a burden to others and he definitely doesn’t want to get anyone else sick.

Leviathan:

really dramatic buildups, but his actual sneezes aren’t that intense. they just make his nose super ticklish and he can feel it all the way in the back of his sinuses and it makes him hitch so bad.

has really messy sneezes when he’s sick. he always needs to keep a tissue box by his side when he’s under the weather, but that isn’t much of a problem since he already spends all of his time in his room.

super allergic to pollen. he’s fine with animals, scents, and everything else, but even a few flowers are enough to make him really sniffly and sneezy.

physically cannot stifle. he just can’t, but he wishes he could. it would certainly save him a lot of embarrassment, because he hates the attention that sneezing attracts.

hates being blessed. he’ll mutter out a “thank you” if it’s someone he tolerates, but in general he hates other being made aware of his presence at all.

doesn’t have a terrible immune system, but it isn’t the best. he gets sick around the same time of year as everyone else, but it’s not super intense. he just hibernates in his room until it’s over.

Satan:

could you imagine if this man was allergic to cats? devastating. so he’s not allergic to cats, but dogs make him a little sniffly. the worst allergen for him, though, is dust.

he can handle dust for a little while. if he’s in the library flipping through a dusty old book, he’ll definitely get a bit sniffly, but not enough to send him into a fit.

if it’s cleaning day or if a couple books fall off the shelves and kick up a dust cloud, that’s a different story. he’ll try to leave the room if he can, but some of the books in his own study are pretty dusty as well…

his sneezes are semi-loud, but nothing crazy. he always annunciates the “choo” sound at the end. it’s just habit at this point.

somewhat good at stifles, but they make him sneeze more so he tries to limit how much he does it. he’ll only stifle if there’s a reason he needs to be quiet or go unnoticed.

has a pretty good immune system, but is actually somewhat susceptible to summer colds. he’s usually fine in the winter though.

Asmodeus:

drama alert!! it’s always such a production with him when he has to sneeze. he either completely over exaggerates the buildup, will announce that he has to sneeze for anyone in the room to hear, and he makes them much more high-pitched than they normally would be.

if anyone blesses him, he’ll thank them right back with a smile. he just likes getting the attention of it all. if no one really reacts, he’ll pout and make a comment about how rude his brothers/classmates/etc. are.

only has mild allergies to pollen. he’s fine if he’s outside, but he’ll get a little sniffly and sneezy in the springtime. it usually goes away if he takes some allergy meds, though.

if he’s sick, it’s a totally different story. he’ll lock himself in his room and scream at anyone that even dares come near him. he just hates the idea that he looks gross in front of others.

he actually gets sick somewhat frequently, and all of the brothers know now to just leave him alone. even his room is in complete disarray with tissues strewn out all over the room, cough drops all over the place, and all kinds of medicines on his nightstand.

asmo does tend to get pretty snotty when he’s sick and he has to blow his nose basically every five minutes. if he sneezes, he needs to grab a tissue or it’s game over.

Beelzebub:

has huge buildups, but his actual sneezes aren’t all that intense. it’s a lot of drama for nothing, as belphie has put it in the past.

not too great about covering his sneezes, which lucifer always scolds him about. he honestly just kind of forgets? if he does remember, he’ll try to sneeze into his elbow though.

not allergic to any food ofc (could you imagine?? poor bby) but he is sensitive to certain spices. they just make him a little sneezy, especially if they’re of a more powdery variety.

when he gets sick, he gets super lethargic. he almost seems like belphie with how much he sleeps. even his sneezes sound tired, with less of a buildup and usually muffled into his pillow.

he gets really sniffly, which is a trait both of the twins share. even if he blows his nose, it just keeps running. he doesn’t mind that much, but lucifer doesn’t like the incessant noise.

beel gets super grumpy when he’s sick because he can’t taste his food as well. he’ll become very quick to anger and he’s having a terrible time, which he makes everyone else’s problem.

Belphegor:

sneezes in really tiny, harsh fits. it feels like he never catches his breath in time before he sneezes, which sometimes causes him to gasp for air afterwards. if anyone comments on it, they will die.

uses all of the tissues. his sneezes aren’t even messy enough to justify how many tissues he uses. lucifer has to remember to keep the house stocked every allergy season.

speaking of allergies, belphie is a little allergic to dust. he can handle it for a while, but if he’s in a dusty environment for a long time, he can get really sneezy. also has regular seasonal allergies, but nothing extreme.

anyone that even tries to comment on his sneezes will die. he hates sneezing and thinks it’s super embarrassing, especially with the way his sneezes sound. so having people acknowledge them is a nightmare for him.

sometimes sneezes in his sleep, which wakes him up. he really hates getting sick for this reason. he doesn’t get sick often, but he will catch anything beel has because the two are attached at the hip.
