I would still use my turn signals in the Mad Max Wasteland. They'd call me "Signal" because I'd hit my blinker before ramming the enemy hot rods into the side of a desert ravine. I'd use my turn signal every time. They would respect me for this.

also sorry i just don't find the trope of "woman who hates men learns to love men again because she met one really sweet dude" very compelling. at best i think it's boring and eye-rolling wish fulfillment for people who never got over their lesbian crush and at worst i think it's actively and purposefully misogynistic

ESPECIALLY when its meant to be "fluffy" like sorryyyyy i just don't think Woman Learns Her Place In Society is a very cutesy sweet trope

My mom was a camp counsellor and they were constantly telling the kids to eat potato chips as well as drink water bc chips are the easiest form of salt. Also gives you a little fat and starch boost. So yeah. Summer is the best time of year to have salty snacks!

it’s so funny that cops will say they ‘do not have enough resources to investigate this case’ and then pull you over in a brand new squad car. you’re getting 40% of the municipal budget and complaining about being underfunded and blaming a lack of training when you accidentally shoot your coworker. you’re decked out head to toe in new state of the art riot gear but you can’t be arsed to use any of your budget on solving crime or making your colleagues better at not killing people.

The one thing more exhausting than the saturation of AI videos is randos in the comments confidently and very incorrectly calling any video they see AI because they don't understand how shadows work or that a real human can make the same gesture more than once. Sorry but some people are still using cameras, which still exist, to film themselves and the world around them. The only thing lazier than faking stuff with AI is making these incorrect accusations without doing any investigation at all.

I love it when youtubers do a sketch and to indicate that they are playing a bad guy they tape a crudely made paper moustache to their face
