Idk. just, tony hides his fear by acting confident. and the fandom sometimes seems to play into it. and peter hides his anger/grief by playing up his innocence. and it seems people play into it sometimes.

A reimagining I've made of a movie still, in which I tried to capture Frodo’s sacrifice, endurance, and the crushing weight of the Ring through deep reds and heavy shadow.

Frodo went tramping over the Shire with them; but more often he wandered by himself, and to the amazement of sensible folk he was sometimes seen far from home walking in the hills and woods under the starlight. - ‘But,’ said Sam, and tears started in his eyes, ‘I thought you were going to enjoy the Shire, too, for years and years, after all you have done.’ ‘So I thought too, once. But I have been too deeply hurt, Sam. I tried to save the Shire, and it has been saved, but not for me.
