the owls are not what they seem

there's a cloud in the sky right now that looks like a hip bone

the wind coming through my window at night and in the morning is twisting my dreams

walking down the street feels like a slow awakening. as the fog lifts, reality sets in, leaving me disillusioned

i love walking everywhere so much i dread the day i remember bikes exist

it turns out everywhere you go, you take yourself

you will own happy and be nothing

i need to travel alone and feel what it's like to belong only to myself, to remember that life is vast and that anything is possible

the sky weighs too heavily on me, i walk all crumpled and hunched over. it is very hard to walk anywhere

i thought i was finally free of obligations aside from work, but i recently agreed to design a treehouse for my cousin at my aunt's request. we had talked about it before, back at christmas. it should be interesting and for some reason i am really excited about it. i had a treehouse when i was a kid, and i remember spending hours imagining all kinds of impossible scenarios, which is probably pretty normal for a kid. i think the weather will need to cooperate before i can really get started.. i have been making notes and sketches, and maybe i will share some thoughts here and keep things updated as the treehouse starts to take shape
