Is it valid to ask what Shipwrecked 64 ?

Shipwrecked 64, as it's name implies, is an alternate reality horror game (or ARG Horror) meant to be released for the Nintendo 64 console, but was quietly pulled from the shelves three days after it's release for unknown reasons... until now.
(EDIT: It's actually 3 days, not 2 weeks. I think my knowledge is a little outdated)
Again, like it's name implies, you accompany Bucky Beaver, a sailor, after he and his friends got shipwrecked into Nulla Terra; the island of Wolves. Your friends --Olive Otter, Giovanni Goose, and Walter Walrus, are stuck in what is essentially community service for this, and you have to get your friends' sentences sorted out in 5 days time before Mt. Pinatuba, the Island's volcano, erupts.
There are two versions of the game available: The (2023) version, an emulated version of the game that's been scrubbed clean of any disturbing content, and has multiple endings depending on how you handle the situation as Bucky.
The (1997) version however, is the version of the game that's been left untouched, and has been emulated in full for players to witness in it's entirety. This is where the game truly shines in terms of being an arg puzzle horror.
But you cannot unlock 1997 without playing the 2023 version first.
In 1997, there are two characters that stand out amongst the rest: Chief Wulf, the Chief of Nulla Terra, and Stumbler O'Hare, an armless artist who draws with his mouth. They are your guides to the puzzles and ARG elements of the 1997 version.
And because this is an ARG, you will need internet to progress through the game, it cannot be played offline.
I HIGHLY recommend checking out Shipwrecked 64, because it is genuinely one of THE BEST ARG horror out there. The story is horrifying and disturbing, it does NOT hold your hand at all. Bucky changes the deeper you go. The puzzles can be difficult especially the musical one but even though they're simple, they are really great puzzles and requires you to think outside the box a bit. They're not designed to pad runtime unlike a certain mascot horror cough cough.....
And the ending.... oh man, the fucking ending. Saying "It's a lovely day today. I could use some fresh air." to a Shipwrecked fan WILL have them bursting into an ugly sob.
The reason this game didn't garner a young audience like Poppy Playtime is because of it's deeply disturbing contents, so even though this is a Mascot Horror ARG, keep in mind that you're in for seeing some reaaaaal fucked up shit. None of that baby horror around here, folks.
(Keep in mind, despite me singing the game's praises to the high heavens, I don't think it's a flawless masterpiece. There's some things in the narrative that I think could've been handled/executed better or some plot elements that really shows the dev's lack of experience, but at this point it's just... nitpicking. I can't delve into it because it would be spoilers for pretty late in the game. The current state of the game STILL does the story justice for the most part, though.)
