Unfortunately I Draw

Shane Madej said eating a hot dog was like a deal with the devil. I always think about that whenever I eat a hot dog.

I just felt like recording and text rambling while sketching again. I'd like to do it while drawing a comic sometime if I can.

I do have a small one in store that I honestly nearly forgot. It does lean closer to the old days of the comic being a gameplay journal rather than cartoony style gags. Look forward to it! I did also have a scrapped idea about the cellphone call in Noelle's house. We'll see if I figure that one out enough for it to see the light of day.

One last comic before CH5! I may or may not finish it after this. I guess this doubles as a behind the scenes of what my comics look like in their least finished state. It may not be completely comprehensible. Taken from the Noelle Sidestory, sub-arc. Finale to this and this comic. I'm going to die and play the video game now.

Why the fuck am I referencing Men in Black, I haven't even watched that movie.

I was taking a break from my rush comics, and while I wasn't going to design an adult Asriel until a canon design came out, I was thinking about his character and my hand slipped. He might not even show up in the game at all for all I know.

I forgot I had a lil scenario for Ralsei swearing buried in my layers. I filled out any gaps it was missing, and here it is. Expansion of this post.

I'm excited, but also nervous if any new context provided will undercut some of the gags I have planned for the comics. Best case scenario, there's nothing I need to change and the comics are fine, worst case scenario I have to throw out whole ideas. I'm not really into shipping. At most I might enjoy stuff if it feels like it accurately and entertainingly portrays character dynamics. I may have had shipping soiled for me growing up from almost every fictional couple hooking up in ways that felt inorganic to me. My comic is written to be supplementary to the games, so I'll only go so far as whatever's already been depicted in canon. Which is the mild shipteasing dodecahedrons that could be read as platonic or romantic and Noelle's crush on Susie, which Susie seems to somewhat reciprocate. My hottest take is that I think there's a non-zero chance Noelle might fumble Susie by downplaying her friendship with Kris while they hang out at the festival. Whether they both move on or Noelle character develops into being more honest, we'll see I guess!

In the actual game, I think our ability to interface with the world is so limited, they wouldn't really notice. In my comic specifically, this idiot started playing the game when chapter 3/4 released (since that's when I played thinking the game was fully out), so not that much time has passed. It would be funny if it popped into the game one day and was just like "Yoooo, guess who just got married!!" on its honeymoon.
