forgot just how wild the pacing is at the beginning of FE3H. you meet sothis almost immediately after starting the game, then you're thrust directly into a battle to save the house lords while your dad just word vomits exposition at you lol

pacing issues obviously aren't unique to FE3H but the opening scenes really feel a lot more rushed than other games like awakening and fates. at least those games give you a little room to breathe at the start

#the opening scene with seiros is fucking badass though.#i hope fortune's weave takes its time in the beginning
