i finished the george miles cycle and i'm gonna be completely honest in that... i guess i'm not sure i fully understand dennis? or the 'point' of the cycle, rather? after closer all the books defo feel like... self-reflective, but to me, period doesn't really seem to come to a head in deciphering dennis' attraction to george? i don't know, i loved the walker character and the internet elements, the way george could be 'anyone', but i feel like all those elements are more clearly laid out in the sluts????? the sluts to me just kinda seemed like a more concise exploration of all the ground tread in the george miles cycle and i think i did myself a disservice by reading it first idkkkkk 😭😭😭 like the fact that (spoilers) doesn't actually die to me seems like dennis is overcoming that aspect of his desire, and the expansion of the internet forum stuff to portray the collective perception of desire, and going back to the fiction/reality themes from frisk...even the title is irreverent, maybe even self-deprecating compared to the self-reflection of frisk and period?.....it's almost like a 'summary' of the cycle, so tight and clean in its execution, but so..... it wears its themes on its sleeves, and feels so simple and digestible compared to the cycle, yet in my eyes they seem to all be exploring the same thing, the same person, the same want
