you started watching the WC 2026 for the doomed yaoi only to be genuinely invested in the game/the rest of the teams and on top of that got closer to your sports loving father in the process

After I saw some crispy fanart of the creature in modern clothes on Pinterest I couldn’t get the idea out of my head…. Modern au where Victor, through some stroke of ego decides to take in a foster( I don’t know child but troubled teen), not really grasping the full extent of what it will take. It takes a while and the system is fighting back for various reasons but he is nothing but stubborn and after a while he gets what he wants. Introducing Adam, who no one has ever heard speak a single word and who is riddled with scars on his face and body from who knows what. (The rest I don’t know, maybe it turns into something nice, how Victor SHOULD have treated his creation, or( more likely if I know myself correctly) there will be some horrible parenting coupled with trauma on both parts, the possibilities are endless!)
