I've been working on a free resource website for Sims 4 CC creators called Resources4CC. It's a directory of 100% free tutorials, assets, and useful websites related to creating Sims 4 custom content of all kinds: maxis match, alpha, script mods, meshing, recolors, and more.

Over my years making CC, I've often ran into problems finding tutorials, graphics, and tools. People share them on forums, on Tumblr, on YouTube, and even their own websites! So I decided to start R4CC for fellow CC creators who would like a sortable list of free resources, all gathered onto one convenient site.
Note: All the entries link off to the original pages. Nothing but the occasional thumbnail image is hosted on R4CC.
On R4CC, you'll find:
TUTORIALS made by the community for creating CC of all varieties, as well as for using common programs.
ASSETS including patterns, color palettes, graphics, fonts and more.
WEBSITES full of their own tutorial and asset libraries, as well as inspiration for CC, help forums, game mods, and other community resources.

But first, a cry for help. This is a Herculean task, yes. I'm an ambitious fool. While I did my best to start the site off with plenty of resources (99 entries, to be exact), it's very incomplete!
Do you know of something that could be a great fit for the site? Suggest it via the contact page! The form helps me stay organized and makes sure I won't miss anything, so please don't send recs thru Tumblr. Questions and other comments are encouraged!

How do the directories work?
Directories are split into 3 broad categories:
1. Tutorials is for the how; written and video tutorials and program walkthroughs.
2. Assets will cover the what; free design resources and downloads.
3. Websites is the where; free programs and community sites, as well as websites that consolidate assets and tutorials themselves.
Some websites contains massive amounts of tutorials and assets (ex: the S4S forums). In these cases, R4CC will point you towards the homepage or subpages in the websites directory. Select tutorials and assets are still spotlighted, but most won't be catalogued. If you can't find the tutorial or asset you're looking for, give that directory a search!
What is R4CC's AI content policy?
No AI. I only feature visual resource websites that prohibit AI content, programs without AI features, and 100% human-made assets and tutorials. If you spot slop, alert me! Due to AI disclosures not being universal, the onus of identification falls on the consumer; I greatly appreciate your help in keeping R4CC and the CC community at large authentic.
Are you planning to add more directories?
As of right now, I can't think of any categories that would warrant their own directory as opposed to a filter tag. There will be many more filters to come as new resources are added.

Some of the filters are empty!
As of right now, there are 99 total entries but you may notice that 4 filters have zero results. A couple of things and projects have come up that require the majority of my attention, so I can't spend the absolutely heinous amount of time per day I was spending on the site before.
Because of that, I decided it was best if I went ahead with launching. It contains a lot of useful stuff already, plus if people really like it, that'll help me justify prioritizing it also my ADHD is entirely unmedicated so if it just sits there I am definitely gonna forget I even made it. Most importantly though, some very kind simmers might suggest things while I'm busy.
Updating entries takes a few minutes, but searching for them can take a lot longer - so IMO, it's better to open up that possibility instead of letting it collect dust!

Okay, so I gathered some who either use AI for their previews/meshes or just use/support AI in general. Also please note that this is just a list that I was making for myself so I could avoid these creators. I did not intend for this to be seen as a call out post, bc that was not my intention. If it were a callout post then I would @ these people. This list is only to inform you guys on who to avoid/be wary of!!

Daonworks - AI previews unknown. Meshes are AI
Syboulette - They used to use AI textures in the past but they have stated they no longer use it HERE
Swimwearsprada - AI previews idk. Meshes are AI. You can read more HERE
Scodee Yodee - AI previews idk. Meshes are AI (older stuff is fine, only their newer stuff uses it) They have however stolen (never credited anyone) Cities: Skylines Steam Workshop assets from creators like Darf, Prosper, Boldly Building, Macwelshman, Modocero, and many others, but with pulled vertices and clipping textures, and without proper alpha transparency.
dumbburgergirl - uses Al for that bubble font in their previews. Could also be using AI for some of the furniture they make
Roxxysim - AI previews. Meshes idk
creamlattedream - AI previews no usage there ❌ Uses AI generated textures for meshes
Skinfolk - Just look at their patreon. It’s quite obvious they use AI….LMAO I would also like to say that LifeLike-Simz and Skinfolk are most definitely the same person !!

When I was posting and sharing CC of my own, I admit, I often kept my mouth shut and skirted the edges of conflict for my own preservation and peace. But the things I've seen just from a single scroll of my feed today are truly, truly awful.
AI generated CC previews, early access CC for Paralives (an indie game IN early access), and low/questionable quality CC for sale in the Sims marketplace.
What the fuck happened where folks think any of this is okay or normal?
If we don't speak up, hold people accountable, and examine why these things are harmful, it's only going to get worse. Keeping the peace is one thing, but staying silent in the wake of the pure bastardization and exploitation of art is another.

*It's also important to note that Sable (Angelina Rawlins) is the estranged sister of The Placid Crows Member, Einar Rawlins, which can lead to a LOT of one-sided tension.
Isadora Virell ☆ BACKING VOCALS/LEAD GUITAR/VIOLIN/SYNTH ☆ Quite literally the multi-talented queen of the band who happens to be a wizard at playing almost any instrument she lays her hands on. Formerly a bodybuilder from Selvadorada, Isadora finds it easy to carry several instruments on her person at once and despite her visual impairment, she doesn't let it stop her from keeping a motherly eye on her crew!
Leah Morrigan ☆ BACKING VOCALS/BASSIST ☆ The extremely laidback bassist of the band most likely known for either her low-cut bangs or her rather risqué clothing choices whilst onstage. Leah has only been playing bass 'professionally' for the past four years and prior to becoming part of the band, she worked as a Barista in one of Willow Creeks' many coffee shops.
S0REN ☆ BACKING VOCALS/DRUMMER ☆ Soren is the band's drummer and they can be a little... Odd sometimes. No one is really quite sure what they are (not a lizard, not an alien but most certainly a friend) or where they came from but S0REN is cherished by their bandmates all the same. Their positive attitude and high-energy approach to literally everything makes them a near-perfect drummer!
Like I will be doing with The Placid Crows, this is just a short note for any Simmer planning to create any CC for this year's EDGEWAVE! Dear friends, I’m so happy to finally show you this little house on wheels! ❤️
If your Sim has the soul of a true wanderer, or is simply tired of ordinary houses and walls, this build is definitely for you. It’s a tiny but incredibly cozy caravan that has almost everything needed for comfortable living (except a stove — travelers cook over a campfire, right?).
Inside you’ll find: a comfortable bed, a fireplace , a dining table, a desk with a computer styled as parchment and quill, a bookshelf , a wardrobe , a refrigerator , a full bathroom , an herbalist’s table , a lute , a cross-stitch hoop — and even a kettle
There’s also everything you need for hand-washing laundry.
The house is only 27 tiles. It was built in Henford-on-Bagley on a 30×20 lot, but it fits perfectly on much smaller lots in any neighborhood. I didn’t over-detail the lot itself, because I designed the caravan as a universal build that can be placed anywhere.

The build has been fully tested in-game. The only small issue is that Sims sometimes move the lute and block the passageway, so I recommend placing it in the household inventory right away.
You can seat your Sims on the coachman’s bench. There’s a small ladder on the right side — climb it and your Sim can sit on the right side of the bench.

If you’re really short on space, you can add two extra tiles near the door (the base appears to be designed to support them). That said, for the final upload I chose the more authentic and historical old wagon style. I also have a version with the two extra tiles — just message me if you need it!
