Hey everyone!

Today I’m showing you a simple but very atmospheric lot — a modest and incredibly cozy medieval farm. The location is just magical: the plot sits right by the waterfall in Hanford-on-Bagley. This is probably the most beautiful and picturesque spot in the area, so I had a lot of ideas for what to build here. In the end, the farm won.

What’s inside:

A small farmhouse (originally designed for two Sims, but you can easily add more beds if the family grows);

A separate bathhouse;

A barn for the cow;

Chicken coops;

Beehives;

A vegetable garden.

In my save, this district is quite deserted and has the status of an “abandoned” area. People who love solitude and quiet tend to settle here. It’s not the safest corner of the map, but for those who seek peace and privacy away from people — it’s perfect.

This is a truly massive and majestic royal castle, inspired by 14th to early 15th century medieval fortifications.

I've always wanted to build a castle that felt like a real medieval fortress. Of course, The Sims comes with plenty of gameplay conventions that you have to work around—like placing toilets in every corner, which isn't exactly realistic. Still, I tried to strike a balance between enjoyable gameplay and historical authenticity.

The complex stands dramatically on a rocky cliff, with a narrow winding road leading up to the main gates. The multi-layered system of courtyards creates an excellent defensive layout — even if the enemy breaches the main gate, they can be trapped and ambushed at several stages before reaching the central courtyard.

The castle also has several watchtowers along the walls. Beneath it lies a large storage cellar and a small dungeon with a prison.

The living space is enormous — it could easily house residents from several Sims towns. I have no idea who in their right mind would need this many bedrooms, but I built them anyway, just in case. There are numerous private chambers, several solar rooms for the lord and lady, guest rooms, and quarters for servants of varying ranks. The castle also includes a chapel, artist's studio and a library (as much as one can call a room with a modest collection of books and scrolls a “library” — though even a hundred volumes was an incredible privilege reserved for the wealthiest monarchs or monasteries at the time). The two-story Great Hall features a musicians’ gallery and a raised dais for the lord and lady.

The castle turned out very impressive, yet still quite playable. Personally, I would add and disguise an elevator in one of the towers alongside the stairs for faster movement (or use teleports — entirely up to you). No other major issues were found.

WIP

Today I present my new build in The Sims 4 — a Medieval Castle! 🏰

In my vision, this is not a royal palace, but a solid and respectable stronghold belonging to a wealthy aristocrat — a prosperous baron or minor earl.

What’s inside:

Inner Courtyard: stables for two horses, a small garden, and a training ground.

Main Areas: grand hall, chapel, kitchens, servants’ quarters, barracks, bathhouses, a small dungeon, and an observation deck in the tower.

Living Quarters: two solar rooms and several smaller but cozy bedrooms for guests, children, or relatives.

The rooms turned out quite compact due to the limited lot size of 50×40. However, I managed to fit a surprising amount of functional and atmospheric spaces. The result is a very “lived-in” and cohesive castle.

Hey everyone!

Sorry for disappearing for so long. The Gothic remake came out, and I wouldn’t be me if I skipped such an event. On top of that, I’ve been learning Blender to create all sorts of cool stuff for the game, so I’ve had almost no time for builds.

But today I finally have something for you — the Old Watch "Dual Towers"!

A crumbling medieval watchtower complex, once guarding the river valley, now slowly being reclaimed by nature.

The outpost consists of two stone towers connected by a wooden gallery and fortified gate. The smaller tower houses modest stables for two horses on the ground floor and a fighter’s platform above. The main tower is much larger and contains:

A deep basement with a well

A blacksmith forge

A kitchen

A great hall

A bathhouse

Two modest living quarters

Barracks and an armory on the upper floor

The entire structure shows clear signs of decay: weathered stone, damaged wooden elements, overgrown vegetation, and a general atmosphere of abandonment. It feels like a place that has stood empty for years — though perhaps it has recently become a temporary shelter for bandits, outlaws, or weary travelers.

Once, Bramblewood Hall was a fortified manor, capable of protecting its inhabitants from bandit raids, peasant uprisings, or small armed companies. But time spares no stone. The walls surrounding the estate have gradually crumbled, the moat has overgrown, and some of the outbuildings have been completely dismantled. All that remains is a weathered, aging manor house.

Today, Bramblewood Hall is a place where antiquity peacefully coexists with quiet decline. Cracks in the plaster, darkened beams, moss on the roof… yet inside, you can still feel the soul of an old noble house.

What the estate includes:

A spacious main hall with a large fireplace

A kitchen and several storerooms

A forge

A stable for three horses

Two master bedrooms and two guest bedrooms

Several servants’ quarters

On the grounds: a chicken coop, a vegetable garden, beehives, training dummies for sword fighting, and archery targets

This manor is perfect for Sims who are not wealthy enough for a castle, but too well-off for a simple peasant hut.

I tried very hard to convey the feeling of a lived-in but slightly dilapidated place — one that has become quite old-fashioned for its time, yet still fully serves its purpose as a home. Naturally, there are no large windows, balconies, stucco decorations, or other architectural excesses. It is neither a castle nor a rich palace, but despite that, the lot turned out very cozy and atmospheric.

I wanted to capture the visual aesthetic of games like Kingdom Come: Deliverance and The Witcher series. I really hope I managed to achieve that.

I’m excited to share my first medieval/renaissance save file. Three worlds have been reworked to capture the atmosphere of the Middle Ages and the Renaissance. Almost all lots in these worlds are empty — a clean canvas for your own medieval builds.

What has been reworked:

Tartosa — Renaissance Coastal City

Porto Luminoso has been completely rebuilt with an Italian/Spanish Renaissance vibe.

Terra Amoreosa has been cleared — only beautiful vegetation remains.

Gibby Point — Medieval Village & Surroundings

Jellyfish Jive and Crystal Cove have been transformed into medieval style.

Wanderwood Wilds has been left with only vegetation.

Hanford-on-Bagley (Finchwick) A full medieval version of Finchwick by @rivercutelegacy. This is not my work — I barely changed anything because the district already looked absolutely stunning.

Important Information:

In the three main worlds all lots are empty.

In the other worlds, some original developer lots and families remain. I’ve cleared some lots, but a few of my old experiments are still there.

Bug: In Tartosa, vendors sometimes don’t properly claim the market stalls. If you know how to fix this, please let me know!

About the Save:

This save was created primarily as a decoration / building canvas. There are currently not many playable objects. Since this is my first big project of this kind, there may be some imperfections.

Background areas (where Sims can’t walk) were made mostly for visuals. If you fly over them in free camera, you might notice some messy spots — that’s expected.

In the future I might make a second version with more playable objects and decorations. For now, this is an atmospheric clean slate perfect for beautiful builds and screenshots.

If you find any bugs or weird things, please tell me! I’ve mostly built in these worlds and barely played them.

✨ New Build: Ancient Aristocratic Mansion-Castle ✨

Hey everyone! Sharing a build that’s a bit unusual for me — completely CC-free.

This is a former castle that has been rebuilt many times over the years. It gradually lost its fortress walls and narrow arrow-slit windows, transforming into a comfortable mansion with large stained-glass windows. For many generations, this house has belonged to one ancient aristocratic family. The lot is located in Windenburg.

The current owners deeply respect their family history and tried to preserve the old castle spirit as much as possible: stone walls, high ceilings, heavy wooden furniture, tapestries, and ancestral portraits. At the same time, they didn’t want to give up modern comfort — so antiques blend harmoniously with a functional kitchen and high-quality plumbing.

✨ Presenting the Herbalist’s Caravan! ✨

Dear friends, I’m so happy to finally show you this little house on wheels! ❤️

If your Sim has the soul of a true wanderer, or is simply tired of ordinary houses and walls, this build is definitely for you. It’s a tiny but incredibly cozy caravan that has almost everything needed for comfortable living (except a stove — travelers cook over a campfire, right?).

Inside you’ll find: a comfortable bed, a fireplace , a dining table, a desk with a computer styled as parchment and quill, a bookshelf , a wardrobe , a refrigerator , a full bathroom , an herbalist’s table , a lute , a cross-stitch hoop — and even a kettle

There’s also everything you need for hand-washing laundry.

The house is only 27 tiles. It was built in Henford-on-Bagley on a 30×20 lot, but it fits perfectly on much smaller lots in any neighborhood. I didn’t over-detail the lot itself, because I designed the caravan as a universal build that can be placed anywhere.

The build has been fully tested in-game. The only small issue is that Sims sometimes move the lute and block the passageway, so I recommend placing it in the household inventory right away.

You can seat your Sims on the coachman’s bench. There’s a small ladder on the right side — climb it and your Sim can sit on the right side of the bench.

If you’re really short on space, you can add two extra tiles near the door (the base appears to be designed to support them). That said, for the final upload I chose the more authentic and historical old wagon style. I also have a version with the two extra tiles — just message me if you need it!

I’ve finally finished my most atmospheric build in a while — a full Romanesque church in true medieval style! The lot is 20×30 and located in Henford-on-Bagley. It fits perfectly into the peaceful countryside, but at the same time looks like it was transported straight from the 12th century.

The church turned out strict and majestic. The main altar fully functions as a wedding arch, so you can now hold beautiful medieval weddings right inside the church. The pulpit works as the debate podium, which means your sims (priests or just debate lovers) can deliver real sermons and philosophical discussions.

The lot is designed for two church servants to live there — inside you’ll find modest living quarters, a kitchen, and everything needed for a quiet monastic life. Beneath the church there are functional catacombs with working tombstones (you can actually bury sims). Outside there’s a decorative cemetery that adds the perfect touch atmosphere.

It’s a shame that the lot size limited me so much and I couldn’t use all the materials from @medievalmaniacsims, especially those gorgeous vaulted ceilings. I think you can expect a full monastic complex from me on a larger lot in the future — I enjoyed working with the Romanesque set so much!

Blacksmith Shop with Functional Forge and Shop for Four Sims ⚒️

This is a full residential house for 4 Sims with a completely working forge and a small street shop outside. Your Sim-blacksmith can now live here, work at the anvil, craft weapons and tools, and then immediately sell their creations right on the spot — everything in one place.

The lot is 20×15 and was built specifically to match the medieval save Ye Olde Finchwick. The house is fully playable, tested, and ready to move in.

Today I’m finally sharing a project I’ve been working on for a long time. This medieval town is my personal love letter to all The Sims 4 CC creators — none of this would have been possible without you.

Originally this lot wasn’t meant to be released, but I loved the final result and decided to share it with you ❤️

This is a medieval town inspired by European half-timbered houses of the Late Middle Ages and Early Renaissance. I focused on making it not only beautiful, but also functional — with period-appropriate (or fantasy-medieval) businesses and activities.

The lot is divided into three districts:

1. Outskirts

Inn with tavern, stables and guest rooms

Peasant house with windmill and watermill

Cemetery (to recreate the fog from, turn on the resized Spooky Stuff lanterns hidden around the cemetery)

Market stalls with vegetables and fish

2. Foreigners’ Quarter

Church, several two-story houses, bakery, workshop and chandler’s shop

Bathhouse with tavern and rooms upstairs

3. Noble Quarter

Houses with ground-floor workshops (apothecary, blacksmith, jeweler)

Artist’s house with studio on the second floor

Small food court

The main highlight — a stunning Gothic-Tudor mansion with a luxurious basement bathhouse inspired by Roman thermae and oriental hammams.
