the thing from like 10+ years ago of like, batman & catwoman being modelswapped to show the difference between their animations was like... i mean, there certainly was something interesting going on there, but the primary line about it was(/is) that it reveals that catwoman's animations are inherently absurd/demeaning/etc, which, while halfway to a salient point, completely elides a substantial middleman (or middlewoman, as it were)

(points to a movie with a "man in a dress" joke) this proves that dresses are inherently degrading

i genuinely think all biopics are bad

i have yet to see a biopic that doesn't wildly distort the facts of a person's life in service of doing the most formulaic hack bullshit possible
