Do you think Songbirds have Standards? Like. Y’know greatest hits from grandpappy’s time. Are there regional “tunes” that are more or less popular with geographically isolated populations of the same kind of bird? Do you think a bird ever got blown to a new place by a storm and had to learn a whole new portfolio of songs to fit in with the locals? You think a catch-and-release bird ever came into a new locations with songs that caught on and became popular and they were kinda like a little songbird pop star? Is there research money for this I have questions.
