Chapter 13 is here today! In this chapter, Zelda sorts through a series of fallout and messes with every man currently taking up space in her life.
(Oh, and also Link reveals himself as a Twilight Princess favoritist).
When she rolled back again, morning had properly arrived. She hadnāt seen his office in the light of day; the red rug and matching silk curtains with their Gerudo scrollwork and decadent tassels seemed to make the entire space glow. Ganondorf was at his desk as heād been the last time sheād checked, but now with a freshly starched shirt in a shade of charcoal. A bold contrast to his preferred white, proclaiming across the chamber that āyes, I did get up before you.ā He sipped coffee while his pen sailed over documents, and she noticed that half of breakfast was waiting on the dining table, absent the two double old-fashioned glasses theyād forfeited before bed.
āWhat time is it?ā The Songbird asked, her voice croaking out like sheād adopted Linkās pack-a-day Dondon habit.
āMuch earlier than youāre normally out and about, little owl,ā he said without so much as hesitating in his writing.Ā
Well. She couldnāt argue that.
āBut now that youĀ are,ā he continued, dramatically capping his pen, āwe can have a focused discussion on the division of your accommodations and workspace.ā He leaned back in the chair, twirling the pen between his fingersāfreed, she noted now, from the confines of his black leather gloves. āThe east wing chamber is convenient, and a straight shot from Vices. It is also pre-stained with the stinking aura of abominations past. This makes it ideal for your operations, but unacceptable as a residence.ā
āI find it acceptable,ā she said, not because it was, but because she had been too agreeable already.
He flipped the pen, twirling it the other way while he regarded the unbrushed, unwashed, uncooperative mess on his lovely settee. āIf it makes you feel better to argue, yes. Letās say you find it acceptable. You donāt, and neither do I.ā He set the instrument down on the desk like a final verdict. āI propose that you and yes, your noble hound, move to the North Tower.ā
