Plot Bunnies: Phoebe Jenkins

“DJ Howl here, ready to bring you more music and… stuff.”

Phoebe’s come a long way since that first broadcast at Briar U’s radio station. Now she’s one of the most-listened-to DJs on campus. Except- well, outside of the studio, she’s practically invisible.

But that’s the way she likes it.

Having transferred to Briar U after the end of an abusive relationship, she retreated deeper into music, into the safe space that was the radio station. She tends to her emotional wounds through music and semi-snarky phone interactions with callers. (“Sorry, nothing from this century tonight. It’s all the 80s, baby!”)

On the other end of the airwaves- and increasingly more frequent song requests- is hockey star John Logan, toiling away at his family’s garage.

The campus can’t get enough of the energy between the girl known to them as DJ Howl and Logan- Fifth Line referring to them as “electric”.

Plot Bunnies: Sabine Hilferty

Mal saw it as an opportunity- Sabine thought it was a trap.

Of course she did. Why would Ben, the crown son of Adam, invite Sabine- a being born of the same magic that once cursed Ben’s father- and four fellow Villain Kids to attend Auradon Prep?

Clearly something was amiss.

But Ben proved time and time again that he was kind- which made Sabine almost feel some sort of sympathy for him; Mal was determined to use a love potion on him.

Sabine had no idea that it would make Ben fall for the Enchantress’s daughter.

Plot Bunnies: Shiloh Sinclair

Shiloh felt different all her life.

Discovering she was trans from a young age, she also found comfort in the arts all her life. That was why she was pursuing an arts degree and took her job at the Briar U radio station a little too seriously. It was probably a bit too seriously because she only ever really interacted with those in her general realms of interest.

Until she was invited to a party thrown by some of the most talked-about guys on campus.

Dean Heyward-Di Laurentis fit in all his life.

Rich, good-looking, and generally well-liked, he had the world at his fingertips. He could get any woman he wanted.

Until the one woman he found himself wanting this time around rebuffed him.

Not one to be discouraged, he pursues Shiloh Sinclair with the utmost earnest.

Both college students will find themselves changing their ways for the better and finding someone they never knew they needed in one another.

But will the world- or, at least, Briar U- itself tear them apart?
