for VtM, if you mean getting to know the setting, then here's some options:
- actual plays with video recordings - LA by Night was the first official one for the fifth edition of VtM, it was pretty fun, although to me it was missing some of the vibe. there was a second one (NY by Night) but it seems like it's doomed to never get finished. some of the same people also made Private Nightmares, which I've heard good things about but haven't checked out yet
- podcasts - right now i'm in the middle of listening to Path of Night and it's absolutely fantastic, although it can get a bit overwhelming at the beginning with all of the Vampire Words. they're explaining everything to one of the characters, so that can help you understand the rules of the vampiric society, but there's still a lot of info you need to absorb. if you don't mind possibly being confused at the beginning, then it's definitely worth giving it a listen. one thing to note is that they're using an older version of the system, which is a bit more complex in some places
- games - the most well known is VtM Bloodlines, which is a very fun game, but you need a pretty high tolerance for janky controls and old graphics if you wanna play it. if you can get past the jank, then it's a wonderful introduction to the setting. for something simpler and newer, there's also the trilogy of visual novels set in New York: Coteries of NY, Shadows of NY, Reckoning of NY. Shadows is technically second, but it's the best out of the three and can be played as a standalone (it even makes some sense to play it first, since it's about solving a mystery related to what happened in Coteries). i haven't played Reckoning yet, people have mixed opinions about it
if you mean playing the actual ttrpg, i'm not sure if i can give you too many useful tips as it's going to depend on what's available in your location. it's worth checking if there are any physical events in your area - my city has a biweekly event where people can volunteer to GM oneshots using whatever system they want to, and every once in a while there's someone wanting to do a VtM session. there are also the occasional posts in the VtM tag here on tumblr made by people looking for players for an online chronicle
either way, i hope all of this isn't too much info and that you'll find something that works for you!

Hello Hi everyone @peachesncremate here, welcome to my VTM oc. I am terribly shy but if I can break into one RP community and watch it suddenly bloom I can try it with another.
I'd love to introduce you all to Leo, a seventh gen Malkavian prodigy, embraced in 1982 at age 24 while blazed out of his entire brain on shrooms and blow in a nightclub. This left his gray matter wide open for the madness network, the cobweb sinking in deep. He hears the cobweb primarily through running water, radio static, and people on the tv. He has to burn blood to do it, but Leo can function like a switchboard of sorts within the network, connecting any two Malkavians he needs to connect. Of course, he usually just uses this ability to annoy his sire, whispering 'would you still love me if I was a worm' into the running sink until his sire gets the message.
He would, in fact, still love him.
He runs a kindred radio show, talk and music, news on the local Camarilla affairs, hot Nosferatu gossip, layered over with enough obfuscation that any mortals tuning in just hear Hall & Oates. He is still very liable to pop down to the club and catch a vibe and get a bite from whoever looks like they're tripping the hardest.
He was my DMpc for an ill fated vampire game that had a single session sobs. Hence his crazy use of Auspex. He was never meant to be balanced, he was meant to be prophetic and unhelpful with it. He's Cammie through and through, a vampire nepo baby grandchilde of the primogen and bitterly useful thanks to his grasp on the madness network as much as he annoys the Prince.

this is really important to remember! art is a process and youre always learning! it can be very helpful to dedicate some time every day to some warm ups before any major drawings as well. try alternating between different subjects. for example, start with lines, then boobs, then shapes, then boobs again, then composition, then boobs, then back to lines, then round it all out with some boobs. it can really make a difference!
