I watched project hail mary with my mom and when grace decides to call rocky's mate "adrian" she went "but..that's a man's name?" and without skipping a beat I just went into a rant about how an entirely different alien species from another galaxy that as far as we know don't even have genitals (or at the very least don't construct and divide themselves into rigid groups based on them) would most definitely don't have the idea of gender that we do and certainly don't have an equivalent of "men" and "women" and she just hit me with this :| so I just went "and also that's the name of rocky's girlfriend in the movie"

I seriously think that in the next couple years you're going to see so many people experience paranoia re: whether any given text/image they're looking at is AI-generated that it will be a clinically-recognized condition. It's happening to me to some extent, and I'm watching it happen on art sites like DA/Pixiv.
