whenever theres a femicide the media starts saying that the murderer was a cold, charming manipulator who duped everyone into thinking he was innocent and then you see his arguments and they were "don't believe her shes crazy/ shes a slut/shes obsessed with me" and they never want to hear that maybe they fell for his lies because they're all deep in mysoginy and not because the murderer is particularly smart (in fact the murderer is usually very outwardly mysoginystic and aggressive, and theres no psychopatic pathology at all, nor a high IQ)

i think people are starting to confuse class analysis with bioessentialism. like... no not all men do this, but Men as a constructed social class do do this. that's still okay to say. that is regular material analysis of the world around us.
