Other queer people’s biphobia is so casual and rampant that they don’t even acknowledge that they’re being biphobic.
Just saw a reel of a girl talking about why the lesbian master doc is bad (I agree with that) but one of the reasons given was that “it was written by a bisexual who now has a boyfriend” and she’s in the comments defending her point, saying it’s the “usual suspects” giving bi women a “bad name”.
When someone pointed out to her that the author DID NOT KNOW SHE WAS BI when she wrote the master doc, she said “i don’t care.”
Like just purposely looking for a reason to shit on and demean bi women.
She then doubled down and was like “oh so now I’m being called biphobic wowww” even tho there were actually no comments calling her that, despite her MANY comments in response to other people agreeing with them while talking down bi women and being genuinely disgusting and mean.
Like that’s the point we’re at. During pride.
And I’m not even gonna get started on the amount of random infighting and disgusting comments being made about bi women this year. It genuinely feels like more than usual, like WAY more.
You people treat bisexuals as “half gay half straight” and refuse to actually see us as we are: wholly bisexual.
