Feathers

I have mixed feelings about Disney's Hexed teaser. The trailer looks mid and generic. It is clear Disney has learned nothing from the disaster Wish was, especially when it comes to the "adorkable" characters. Design wise, the main character Billie looks interesting. I like her alternative look, which is something not many Disney characters, especially not prominent ones have. As of right now the only other Alt character i can think of is Cassandra from the Tangled series. However the story feels too similar to Strange World, Onward, or The Owl House. I know TOH is a very common comparison, and it also didn't event the trope of magical witch teenagers, but we know Disney doesn't really care about making quality entertainment anymore, they just care about making a profit. The humor seems like it was written by the "how do you do, Fellow kids?" Meme. It honestly feels like the new Scary Movie film when it comes to humor. I won't jump to conclusions too fast however, since we only have a teaser. The animation looks like all normal Pixar films, a bit boring but it's good, nothing wrong with it. I praise Hoppers for its unique for Pixar animation style but oh well.
