I tried to keep these as gender neutral as I could.

Alpha:

Beta:

Omega:

Ivan had dozed for a little while but he was wide awake when he finally felt the other stir and nuzzle into him. The exploratory hand made him chuckle softly; Nero always did start with the good parts.

“Mm. Morning sleepyhead.” Ivan purred back in return, sliding a leg up along Nero’s slowly as he gave an innocent smile.

“Feeling better now?”

“Mmm. Yes. Breakfast?” Nero’s mind wasn’t actually on food but they were more than just friends with benefits. Nero wanted to treat Ivan more than just a friend that made exercising at home super fun. That and he had fruit in the fridge, or thought he did. Definitely frozen strawberries but he hoped he had apples and other fruit in the fridge. Fresh was best.

But right now food could wait. Ivan wanted to celebrate the fact Nero had came back to him in relatively one piece.

Nero sighed heavily as he woke up, his head was pounding and he just… Felt like garbage.

He got his ass handed to him yesterday on a contract, barely managing to drag his ass away from the fight so he could heal. Abandoning his blood soaked shirt at the front door and hanging up his jacket, undressing to his boxers and crawling into bed. He wasn’t bleeding anymore and the rest was dry. Honestly Nero just couldn’t care.

Ivan had put Nero’s shirt on because it was rather comfortable and it reminded him of the other whilst h was away. Sleeping in Nero’s bed was also comforting; pleasant memories of moments spent together were easily conjured up and it didn’t take long for the blond to fall asleep.

He had woken up just enough to notice Nero’s return that night; smiling sleepily as he curled against the other; murmuring a soft ‘Welcome home, Nero’ before dozing off again. Now it was morning he was more alert, peeking at Nero from under the covers as he sat up; huffed a little before lying down once again.

“We can’t be together, you know this.” 

“It isn’t safe here, anymore. They’ve put traps on earth for us.” 

“Is the little angel afraid of sinning?” 

“Do I frighten you?” 

“The runes signify how powerful a being is.” 

“Stay still, it’d be a shame if these pretty wings were broken.” 

“Stay away from me, monster!” 

“You’re just like the rest of them, cruel and barbaric.” 

“Humans are not pets for you to do what you please with!” 

“You reek of innocence.” 

“I’d like to break you of that purity you all hold so dear.” 

“You think you can kill me?” 

“Don’t be afraid, I’m not here to hurt you.” 

“Why do you have to be all bright and fancy?” 

“Oh, little angel. You have no idea what you’re up against.” 

“Ivan~” Nero slurred softly, smiling like he hadn’t just disappeared and left everyone who cared about him hanging in the wind. There was a glass of something bright blue sitting on the table, just a small shot left in the large glass. It the first time a long time he just wanted to cut lose, to forget that he was a devil hunter and act normal for a change.

But even in this state he desperately missed Ivan. The man who embraced his differences without hesitation…
