#wyvern

It’s been a while since I last posted here, but a lot of strange and wonderful things have happened in the meantime.

I think it's time to share that I’ve landed a major commission—one that has grown into a full-blown collaboration. We're (a group of artists) are building an entire world together - Skywoe, a place where echoes of different universes bleed into one another, including Dune, naturally.

I’m not great at telling stories with words-I never feel like I do them justice. But maybe I can tell them through art instead.

For now, all I can say about this world is that it’s a universe of wyverns, dragons, forbidden magic, and flying ships.

And I'd like to start with a series of sketches of a very playful, cat-like wyvern named Isra and her talented, fiery-haired young rider, Atiye. Personally, I’ve always believed that dragons and wyverns should act a lot like cats - curious, clever, and just a little bit mischievous.

Casualties are okay.

They need to be eradicated.
