A friend of mine is unable to save enough for dental care that her service dog, Harley, needs. Using social media is a huge stressor for her, so I’m campaigning on her behalf!
It’s important for service dogs to be up to date on all of their veterinary care to be able to do their jobs effectively. At 8 years old, Harley is approaching his senior years and is more susceptible to diseases that begin in the mouth and can spread elsewhere. His vet has said that a thorough dental cleaning and the removal of any problematic teeth are considered necessary care for him to continue working. Disability benefits do not provide enough for his owner to save for this, and she isn’t able to work to earn any extra income. Every donation and share helps!
