A small Cuvieronius herd travels
It was an elephant-like proboscidean that was widespread in North America during the Miocene and Pliocene. They were the only proboscid mammals to colonize South America during the Great American Interchange (along with their cousin Notiomastodon). It was about 5 m. long and stood 2.7 m. tall.

Cephalopod Comparison
Here is my take on some of the world's largest described and named fully aquatic molluscs (many prehistoric). Nanaim may look a bit smaller than the Colossal squid because I've made the latter have its "hood" inflated; whether that's their natural form or due to extreme pressure changes when they're brought to the surface.

Marine Protected Areas (2)
Mangroves, kelp forests, remote seamounts - Marine Protected Areas (MPA's) protect vital ocean ecosystems. These ‘safe zones’ for the ocean help fish populations bounce back, support the people who rely on the sea, and even help fight climate change. And the benefits don't stop at their borders; they ripple out into the wider ocean too.

Bone crushing dogs
The largest species of Borophagus are thought to have weighed up to 80 kg- and considerably stronger than a wolf.
But Epicyon was the true monster among borophagines- it has been estimated at 170 kg, well into lion size range, and even some authors believe the estimates fall short! This makes it as of now the largest dog known from the fossil record…
