how it feels trying to make a train journey (especially one with multiple connections) in the UK while half the trains inevitably get delayed or cancelled

can i be honest? I think tumblr users have to deal with the fact that they really really really really really really really WANT taylor swift to be a neo nazi and that this may impact how the seek out and interpret news surrounding her when she does/is involved in something bad or stupid and also impacts how much nuance and research they put into examining that news. I say this mostly because it makes so many of the critical posts on here wildly inflammatory and reactionary and occasionally actively conspiratorial (remembering the nazi necklace hoax that several people i follow fell for hook line and sinker) which undercuts the very real critiques and reasons to dislike her. Like I need to stress that the reason that this habit pisses me off is because it makes it near impossible to find even half decent critical conversation because most of the people willing to approach with any nuance are swifties who get bullied by other swifties for being Too Mean and get bullied by everyone else for being Stupid Dumb Bitches who like a Stupid Dumb Bitch popstar and at the end of the day it all just feeds into the endless discourse void of taylor swift hot take after taylor swift hot take and at the end of the day does absolutely nothing to alter the discussion around her or to increase or decrease her popularity at all and its all just an endless circlejerk of tumblr in group/out group posturing where you prove your love/hatred of taylor to maintain your status in whatever tumblr social circle you exist in and its all so ridiculous and stupid and i wish people could just accept they dont like her because she is annoying and everywhere instead of bending over backwards to try and make her spineless liberal moves proof that she is Pop Girlie Hitler SHES JUST NOT THAT INTERESTING SHES JUST A WHITE WOMAN STOP ARGUING ABOUT TAYLOR SWIFT
