how it feels trying to make a train journey (especially one with multiple connections) in the UK while half the trains inevitably get delayed or cancelled
and like i generally love trains i love taking the train i love being on the train. there’s no seatbelts there’s no security checks restricting what you can have in your luggage there’s no torturous pre-boarding process there’s less carbon emissions and there’s often actually something to look at outside the window. would just be nice if we actually maintained the rail infrastructure and made the tickets cheaper and nationalised the whole shebang and so on
