My mother has raised 3 daughters with Autism and 2 of us also have ADHD. She likes to say that’s she’s gotten pretty good at spotting the signs.
And being me I’m of course going to bring this back around to F1.
All of this to say, I was watching drive to survive a couple months back. It was s7 the last episode and she’s listening to Max speak in a press conference and she goes “he should get tested” 💀 (I strongly agree!)
I think this about a few of the drivers. Their childhoods were so hectic that no one ever thought to stop and ask themselves “is my child neurotypical?” And my answer for a few of them is absolutely not! So here is my analysis….
Carmen Mundt recently told us that George Russell has a pen he takes with him every time they travel and he’s had it for 6 years and it has to be that specific pen. I’d also like to mention George and his very clear desire to fit in and be liked. Which reminds me so much of younger undiagnosed me. His jokes don’t land but he makes them anyway because he wants to be liked!!! George’s thing with the PowerPoints also must be mentioned.
Of course I can’t mention George without mentioning Alex. Every time Alex Albon speaks it’s like I’m listening to a recording of myself on a day I didn’t take my vyvanse. Alex Albon just screams ADHD. He rarely has a complete thought. On the team torque podcast I swear I can see the gears spinning in his head and they are spinning FAST.
Max, Alex, and George are the main ones that really stick out for me. George Russell and Alex Albon being a package deal makes even more sense when I think about this. They match each other’s freak like no other 🥲 (also there’s something very neurodivergent about Alex albon’s whole first date with Lily story)
my ongoing list of neurodivergent traits i spot in lando’s behavior is BUZZING right now
for your personal enjoyment and pleasure fellow bloggers😋😋
