AFAIK:

- Proship = not harrassing others for their ships or simply having a "live and let live" / "dont like dont read" mentality

- This used to be internet common sense

- anti-proshippers believe it to be the same as darkship and ""illegal ships"" i think, due to a mix of misunderstandings and purposeful disinformation.

The question I have:

What are people's thoughts/opinions on coming up with a new name for the real meaning of proship, not attached to the negative stigma? Has this been tried before? What were the results? What are the proship community's thoughts on this?

DeceitQueer (emoji code: 👁️‍🗨️🃏🌈) is a blankqueer stance for those who have difficulty knowing which beliefs of theirs are true and which are false.

Some examples reasons of why one might use the DeceitQueer label:

Persodivergence.

Dissociative Identity Disorder and other Dissociative Disorders.

Compulsive or Pathological Lying.

Identity Inconsistency or Confusion.

Apathy toward surroundings and self due to any number of causes.

Having one or more mental disabilities which make thinking clearly difficult.

Any disorder which involves constant or frequent masking taking place.

What does DeceitQueer REPRESENT?

Live and Let Live — if it makes you uncomfortable, but no real beings are being harmed, block and move on.

Acceptance of those who struggle to understand themselves and their own opinions.

Not knowing exactly where you stand on one or more topics, and acceptance of those who experience that.

What is DeceitQueer AGAINST?

Harassment of any kind, even to those one disagrees with.

Non-consensual harm or contact.
