a Strawberry Lemonade Alter is a headmate whose internal sense of self is based on a desire for a non biological parental figure (ie; step parent, guardian, adopted parent) to be ones biological parent. This headmate may take on features related too said parent (things like eye color, face shape, or race*), hold negative/complex feelings related to bio parents, hold positive feelings related to the chosen parental figure, or any other way the collectives wish for the chosen parent to be a biological parent affects the headmates perception of their self. This could be considered a role, but does not have to be.

*This is not an excuse to identify as tansrace, talk over racialized groups ones not apart of or claim their experiences as ones own, or attempts to ‘transition’ into a new race. This merely affects the alters internal appearance not real world experience.
