Hello, and welcome to Tales from the Trunk: reading the stories that didn't make it.

Tales from the Trunk is a twice-monthly podcast featuring conversations with authors of science fiction, fantasy, horror, and beyond!
Regular episodes release on the 3rd Friday of the month and feature readings of works that authors have decided, for whatever reason (and we get into those reasons) to stop trying to sell, along with conversations and advice about The Writing Life.β’οΈ Airtime tends to be around an hour, but sometimes strays into the 1:30 territory.
Book tour episodes release on the 1st Friday of the month and feature readings from upcoming or recent releases from some of your favorite authors, along with a more-focused conversation about that new release. These episodes tend to be about 30 minutes in length, but time is fake, and I'm making the rules, so that's more of a guideline than anything.
Past guests have included award-winning authors such as Premee Mohamed, John Wiswell, Fran Wilde, and Sarah Gailey, as well as new and upcoming names in the SFFH space.
