pupgender is just as much a serious gender as woman, mew/mews pronouns aren't less respectable than she/her or he/him, being stargender isn't any more "silly" or "frivolous" than being a man, being xenogender isn't the gender equivalent to playing with toys we ARE our genders no matter how playful with gender a xenogendered person is
Non binary ? No problem !
because it is nonbinary day I will be posting more positive nonbinary stuff than usual :3
just saw a post that implicitly categorized all nonbinary people into either transfem nonbinary or transmasc nonbinary and then said "Anyone claiming this is a binary is being disingenuous or willfully ignorant". Like dawg what? Who are you fooling with this (the poster has fooled nearly two thousand people)?

Imagine building your gender around already established societally accepted gender and thinking that makes you experts, thinking that makes you "old fogies of gender" and that being non binary is the cool hip political statement that kids are doing nowadays.
Judith Butler is older than you, a non binary transfeminist. /I'm/ only 8 years younger than ms. peterson. You two are just losers lmao. This is PEAK "I'm better than you" core Like binary trans exorsexists will throw this accusation at us, and then make podcasts about how much more real and awesome and trans they are than us. Binary trans exorsexists get over yourself challenge
It kind of feels like Julia Serano without meaning to kicked off trans radical femninism, and then transfeminism has been co-opted and have been going in that direction for such a long time that we can't even recognize anymore. We gotta take it back. more non binary theorists telling transmedicalist exorsexists to shut up
We have to be more critical of trans academics and their theories. Can the history of transmisogyny book be all that good if it doesn't take non binary people into account?
I think what a lot (or at least to me it seems like a lot) of people don't get with transgender theorists (particularly theorists dealing with transmisogyny) is that these theorists will oftentimes use "transfem" as a shorthand for saying "transfeminized" as they assume that transfeminized people are first and foremost a social class, and that within that class of people some choose to take on their role in the class as a gender identity labeled "transfem" (for the record I disagree with the latter assumption as one can very easily prove that the majority of people do not use the label "transfem" in that fashion).
Now because the majority of people don't use the term transfem in that way and instead use it to mean something along the lines of "trans people who are women and/or adjacent to women" a lot of issues end up appearing; one such issue is people coming to false conclusions about transgender theory (e.g. thinking that transmisogyny only systemically targets trans women and trans people adjacent to womanhood instead of any person who is systemically transfeminized) which only ends up muddying the waters and making it harder for the intended meaning to be accurately conveyed.
It's also worth noting that there's a sizable amount of people who have reductive views on transness and gender identity in general and see no issue in using transfem as a shorthand for transfeminized because to them there are no people who are both transfeminized and not transfem (as in trans women or trans people adjacent to womanhood), and because of this those people themselves perpetuate the transfeminization of non-transfem individuals. This group can often be conflated with people who use transfem as a shorthand for transfeminized as it's difficult to tell the difference between the two since the difference is usually in their internal assumptions and not their actions.
A big reason why I'm bringing this up specifically on my exorsexism and general nonbinary discussion sideblog is because calling people who reject the gender label "transfem" that label for any reason (even if they are transfeminized) is misgendering and at best alienates people from your theory. This is especially relevant for my fellow nonbinary and abinary trans people as the main thing the assumption that "transfem as a label is first and foremost a shorthand for transfeminized (either structurally or interpersonaly)" does is give people plausible deniability to deny the legitimacy of nonbinary and abinary identities.

I honestly think that nonbinary people should be allowed to be mean* about our genders without getting shit for it more often.
*(Read: Assertive of our boundaries and stood firm on the fact that our identities are deserving of respect)
We should be allowed to make a sour face or take a cold tone with someone when they carelessly misgender us for the fifth time in a row despite multiple corrections. We should be allowed to complain about erasure and ask where our needs and experiences come into play when we hear people reinforcing binary normativity in their discussions of gender related issues. We should be allowed to be visibly/audibly angry with other trans people when they try to forcibly categorize us as fem or masc, or imply that our enbyness is a mere phase that will eventually lead to "real/full" (binary to binary) transition.
Nonbinary people should be allowed to take our identities seriously and expect others to do the same for us, regardless of whether or not we will come off as mean for doing so. Because quite frankly, upon seeing how exorsexist the world has become recently, I think we haven't been mean enough.
I've met some people who genuinely think that bigots who consider trans people "too weird [(derogatory)] to be a woman and too weird [(derogatory)] to be a man" is somehow equivalent to a sincere and nuanced acceptance of nonbinary identity and I think that's kind of fucked up

it's crazy how I can't like messages or posts on a sideblog; tony isn't allowed to like messages or comments it has to be my main blog.
maybe I should make one actual tricky tony post for the utdr fans that chance accross my blog
here you go utdr fans; you get an entire one actual post containing toby fox
Hi! (Sorry if this has been asked before, if so you can just reply privately with a link to it or something. Or just tell me to look for it)
I was wondering - can one be maverique in the sense that their single gender fits the definition for it, but is also other things? Like, I can describe mine with a bunch of different labels, but maverique being a specific gender...I think...IDK if that would reflect how other people feel about the label and its meaning
hi!
do you mean as in multigender or a single, more complex gender?
i mean either way my answer to asks like this is usually "you can do whatever you want forever", but i know sometimes people need more words to make it make sense, i guess.
essentially, maverique works like other genders. maveriques don't have to be fully, exclusively or always maverique.
it's always interesting watching discourse between topics understood to only regard "trans women and trans men" (or any of the several proxies people use for those words) as an abinary person bc like do they even know we exist? They probably don't take our existence and experiences seriously due to exorsexism and all, but even if they did the lack of a concept of abinary (and usually also nonbinary in general) people is never not obvious as hell.
Nonbinary people are so cool I wish our rights were taken seriously haha
Genuinely though it is so frustrating that nonbinary rights and exorsexism are not treated seriously at all, even from within the queer community. It sucks that there's not even an option for an X gender marker in so many countries, including in more progressive queer-friendly ones. It sucks that if enben want to get gender affirming care that we're advised to lie about our gender (or lack thereof) in favour of a more binary trans identity lest we jump through a million extra hoops on top of the million already in place for binary trans people to prove we're serious in order to get the care we want/need. It sucks that in most cases we're still forced into some kind of binary and I wish that the issues we deal with were acknowledged more.

So apparently if someone who restricts which people can reply to their posts reblogs one of my posts that same restriction will reply on their reblog (which makes sense as comments under reblogs send a notification to the person who reblogged) as such if you ever see this under any of my posts and are wanting to comment under my post
then you should go to the link of my original post in order to comment :3
we need less “trans women/men should be allowed in women’s/men’s spaces” and more “gender segregated spaces are inherently sexist and transphobic, and we should replace them with gender neutral spaces”
