Fract (they/them), 24 y-o. Main blog, reblogging a lot of random stuff (may contain nsfw!). Original posts are few and far between rn. Bleach runs in my blood by now but currently obsessed with TMA and trying to make it last
[Personal blog of @makitovalydia and @bleach-fanart-events]
Hi! I'm Fract (they/them), I'm a 22-y-o Bleach fan. I struggle getting stuff done in general so updates (on anything, really) may not be regular and if I go missing for months it's probably normal, I just have periods like that. That aside, I make art and write, although right now I'm working on a series and it's taking ages so don't expect chapters for that to come out any time soon. I may occasionally post shorter pieces of writing though, or discuss my worldbuilding and stuff like that. I reblog whatever I like, but have a couple of tags that have my name in them, so you can follow just those instead of following my blog if they interest you.
[2025] - No particular DNI, but I block very liberally. Minors, I don't care if you're here, just be aware that some of the people I reblog from have minors as DNI and that I cannot speak for them. Also know that I usually don't tag NSFW, whatever age you are.
Tag and Pages Guide
Featured Reblogs (#featured) -> Posts I particularly like if you don't want to wade through all my reblogs
Bleach (#bleach) -> Anything Bleach-related should be here
My Art (#fract art) -> Art made by me
Thoughts (#fract thoughts) -> Reflective posts that tend to be on the longer side. May be reblogs or original posts
Writing-Related Stuff (#fract writing) -> General tag for anything related to writing fiction (and sometimes reading)
Writing Thoughts (#writing thoughts) -> Me sharing moments of my writing journey
Fic Thoughts (#fic thoughts) -> Me sharing thoughts about fanfics I'm reading or reblogs about fanfiction in general
My Fics (#fract fics) -> Find my writing here
(22/11/2025 - For some reason my TMA song "I'm Here When You're Here All Alone" hasn't been showing up on my blog nor in general tags? Not sure why, but here it is, because I keep having to look for the post through other means: [link])
Lydia (OC) (#makitova lydia) -> Posts about my OC Lydia. Dw if you don't know who that is, I haven't written enough of her story yet
Personal Stuff (#fract personal) -> Me reblogging things I relate to or rambling about my life
Body Horror (#gore) -> Started tagging this so as to make it easier to avoid, but if you're looking for it, here it is. May be very, or be downright realistic mutilation or actual photos at times - I don't tag them differently because I didn't want to have to wonder whether every single post was disturbing enough to deserve it (just blood on its own isn't included though)
Resources (#fract resources) -> Things that are useful - writing tips, masterposts, tutorials, external links such as the online shops of artists, links to places to donate to charities or people in need of monetary help, useful information to know, etc.
Writing Resources (#writing resources) -> Writing tips etc.
Reading List (#my reading list) -> More for me than anyone. Works or longer posts I'd like to read or have read. Exists in part because I'd rather not put something I haven't read in 'featured', but also don't want to lose them, and they likely deserve attention too, so. Go there if you're looking for fics to read or longer things in general that aren't mine
Flight Rising Stuff (#fract flight rising) -> Mostly contains buttons I make for fluffmoth's Free Tiny Identity Buttons thread, which I currently host on here, and occasionally some other stuff too
(Note: I changed this tag recently from 'flight rising' to 'fract flight rising' to reflect the fact that most of what I use this tag for is to host images I make for myself and other users on the site - i.e., I don't make these posts with the intention of spreading them around. Just wanted to clarify that this was my own idea so people wouldn't think FR staff forced me to take the posts down or something, I dunno)
I also tend to tag fandom stuff with tags such as bleach, jjk, one piece, good omens, marvel (those are the main ones currently). And Bleach characters can have their own tags, so you can type in their first name for any fanart and the like that I've reblogged that feature them (except Harribel - she'll probably be under 'Harribel', not 'Tier' or 'Tia' - and Chad, who's under 'Chad').

Recently I've had this weird phenomenon where, instead of remembering my dreams when I wake up and then forgetting them, I don't remember my dreams when I wake up but something later in the day makes it all rush back in. Like, I just remembered that last night I dreamt that I returned to school and instead of doing the same year again (they gave me another chance, that part is real), they'd accidentally given me the schedule for my old class, which had obviously moved on to the next year. I have no clue why my unconscious mind is apparently worrying about that, but okay

Let’s say you wanted to glue fabric to wood, but what do you use? What about glass to paper? This to That lets you choose two things you want to glue and lists what types of glue is best. (Because people have a need to glue things to other things!)
This is one of the first websites I was told about in props. It also has information about the toxicity, adhere time, price, and other stuff about the glues.

tumblr support just sent me a message informing me they reviewed this post^^^ and determined it did not violate their community guidelines so they didn't do anything except apply a mature content label. but i never reported this post. why would i report this post. why would they put a mature content label on it
at the risk of sounding paranoid, istg they do this so that when posts and blogs get censored/deactivated that "aren't supposed to," they'll be able to point to a glitchy system and say "see? we just haven't worked out the bugs yet, we're not nuking people on purpose"
garaks-padded-bra (not) reported by dungeonsanddragonsfifthedition and pegglefan69 and at least one other person, and then banned based on the bug apparently (all GarakPB does is post about star trek, ive never seen them break site TOS at all)
bobacupcake (not) reported by snarp for saying "h-hello??"
pjackk (not) reported by orcboxer for saying "Bulgaria is Following in Greece's Footsteps. Here's How We Stop It." and then getting banned for it(???!!!)
no i dont think anyone on tumblr staff is doing this on purpose, there's no political or personal reason that would target this kind of thing at a star trek goof blog and a nice little illustration blog or a funny blog about medievalisms. i mean sure pjackk had enemies from killing all those dogs but this just looks like a really weird bug. much like pjackk
QUESTION: HAS ANYONE WHO HAS RECEIVED THESE EMAILS TRIED TO REPORT IT TO TUMBLR SUPPORT? if so, what happened?
paladin pulls me over for drunk driving my horse & as soon as he starts illuminating my ticket i lunge for his service crossbow

#okay i've seen multiple reports of this happening recently #it was why garaks-padded-bra got nuked #multiple folks popped afterward saying they'd gotten messages like this and had never reported anything #so something is seriously wrong with the reporting system rn
i wish there were bug catching games in the same way there are fishing games. bug catching games when you look them up always get you like "this is a pokemon game! this is a harvest moon game!" I want a bug game that's like fishing minigames. fishing games. like. find a bug. catch them. admire the bug. i would accept being able to make the bug fight or breed or whatever but i want TO BE FINDING AND CATCHING A BUGS. people understand what fishing games are can we understand what i want from a bug catching game
mayhaps it’s because most indie game devs don’t think about catching bugs once they make it past, idk, 14?( What age do most people stop catching bugs?) Very few game devs who are also entomologists unfortunately.
like, in order to want to make a game about catching bugs, you have to find the act and process of catching bugs fun, and that doesn’t overlap with game devs much, i think
game devs are making farming simulator. tax return simulator. interior decorating simulator. electrician simulator. I feel like catching bugs cannot be less interesting, especially since so many games have side minigames like bugs as an extra thing. like why would fishing be more interesting than bugs
Extremely true, it wasn’t a justification, just me trying to figure out an explanation. That said now i’m thinking extremely seriously about game mechanics of Bug Game. Like, you could go the educational route and look up all of the bugs in an environment and their behaviors and put them in the game like that. Or if you were slightly insane you could go a fantasy direction and think up five hundred little guys and their roles in the ecosystem but that’d probably be less intricate than just doing real life bugs and would probably be best to leave that for like, a second bug game once you have the mechanics down?
i’m literally just spitballing ideas here tbh. I’m slightly enamored with making like, a Bug Kid catching bugs in the back yard with their bare hands to Entomologist catching bugs in different larger environments with better equipment simulator. Like, as a tutorial, the quintessential child in the dirt experience is fantastic. Like in my mind the game is part puzzle (how do i catch the bugs?) and part exploration (where do the bugs live in this environment?) and another part, uh, like you know the system in pokemon: legends arceus where you were trying to study a wide range of pokemon? That but insects.
I wish i was better at programming. If i was the dragon farm sim would be in progress by now.
yeah exactly! its about like. finding what the bugs eat, where they live, what time of day to find them, how to find them, how to catch them, what equipment to use, measuring them, yknow?
It really isn't what you're looking for, and I don't think an English version exists, but I'm thinking that if you like bugs, you might find this cool - as a kid, I played this game called L'Album secret de l'oncle Ernest. There are several other games in the series that all work around the same premise, but basically, the game screen is a notebook and you can turn to different pages, and on each page you have a different...environment? They're like locations. And since they're about exploring nature and stuff, at least the ones I know, they have bugs all over the place. Like, no joke.
Most of the game is solving puzzles and taking pictures of particular bugs and animals from other pages and the like to put in the right spots, which is fun af (they actually look like the photo you took btw, they're not generic pictures. If you manage to center the goddamn mouse that you keep trying to take a photo of in the basement despite the fact that it is sprinting across the page, and only does so when the light is off, except when the light is off you can't see it...Well anyway. If you take your picture while the light is off, it's just black, but if you manage to take it while the light is on and manage to center the picture it'll actually look like what you took.
And you can grab the bugs and put them in your inventory, or release them anywhere you like, and they will stay. Not necessarily in your line or sight, but you'll see them cross the page and stuff. And you have a couple of pages at the end of the book that aren't puzzles - they're just yours, you can take the pictures you like and the bugs you like and put them there. You can grab ladybugs that'll walk across the page and take off and land somewhere else, or whatever other insect you like and put it there too...
The game is old, you need an emulator to play it, but I think it can be found online. It was one of the two games to impact me the most as a child - but most importantly, while it is not about collecting bugs, you do have to take pictures of them and you can go to the pages that certain bugs appear and catch them, and they move around the pages, and take off and fly around, or if they're a roly poly they eat your goddamn photos if you leave them lying around (lmao??). And it just. It's magical. It makes bugs feel special, yunno? Aside from the very few animals in the game - the one voiced NPC (a lizard stuck in the book), the mice, etc, the bugs are the closest thing that the game has to NPCs, in a way. And they all behave differently and stuff.
It's not...It's not what you're looking for. But I feel that if you like bugs, and speak a bit of French, or if the game can be switched to English (I don't know if it can be), you'll like it. Because aside from photographs and the pages as locations mechanic, bugs are the centerpiece, and I bet are beloved by all players of the game.
I don't know if this is useful, but I just woke up...Best of luck finding a bug catching game that's actually what it says on the tin 🫂
