Fract (they/them), 24 y-o. Main blog, reblogging a lot of random stuff (may contain nsfw!). Original posts are few and far between rn. Bleach runs in my blood by now but currently obsessed with TMA and trying to make it last
[Personal blog of @makitovalydia and @bleach-fanart-events]
Hi! I'm Fract (they/them), I'm a 22-y-o Bleach fan. I struggle getting stuff done in general so updates (on anything, really) may not be regular and if I go missing for months it's probably normal, I just have periods like that. That aside, I make art and write, although right now I'm working on a series and it's taking ages so don't expect chapters for that to come out any time soon. I may occasionally post shorter pieces of writing though, or discuss my worldbuilding and stuff like that. I reblog whatever I like, but have a couple of tags that have my name in them, so you can follow just those instead of following my blog if they interest you.
[2025] - No particular DNI, but I block very liberally. Minors, I don't care if you're here, just be aware that some of the people I reblog from have minors as DNI and that I cannot speak for them. Also know that I usually don't tag NSFW, whatever age you are.
Tag and Pages Guide
Featured Reblogs (#featured) -> Posts I particularly like if you don't want to wade through all my reblogs
Bleach (#bleach) -> Anything Bleach-related should be here
My Art (#fract art) -> Art made by me
Thoughts (#fract thoughts) -> Reflective posts that tend to be on the longer side. May be reblogs or original posts
Writing-Related Stuff (#fract writing) -> General tag for anything related to writing fiction (and sometimes reading)
Writing Thoughts (#writing thoughts) -> Me sharing moments of my writing journey
Fic Thoughts (#fic thoughts) -> Me sharing thoughts about fanfics I'm reading or reblogs about fanfiction in general
My Fics (#fract fics) -> Find my writing here
(22/11/2025 - For some reason my TMA song "I'm Here When You're Here All Alone" hasn't been showing up on my blog nor in general tags? Not sure why, but here it is, because I keep having to look for the post through other means: [link])
Lydia (OC) (#makitova lydia) -> Posts about my OC Lydia. Dw if you don't know who that is, I haven't written enough of her story yet
Personal Stuff (#fract personal) -> Me reblogging things I relate to or rambling about my life
Body Horror (#gore) -> Started tagging this so as to make it easier to avoid, but if you're looking for it, here it is. May be very, or be downright realistic mutilation or actual photos at times - I don't tag them differently because I didn't want to have to wonder whether every single post was disturbing enough to deserve it (just blood on its own isn't included though)
Resources (#fract resources) -> Things that are useful - writing tips, masterposts, tutorials, external links such as the online shops of artists, links to places to donate to charities or people in need of monetary help, useful information to know, etc.
Writing Resources (#writing resources) -> Writing tips etc.
Reading List (#my reading list) -> More for me than anyone. Works or longer posts I'd like to read or have read. Exists in part because I'd rather not put something I haven't read in 'featured', but also don't want to lose them, and they likely deserve attention too, so. Go there if you're looking for fics to read or longer things in general that aren't mine
Flight Rising Stuff (#fract flight rising) -> Mostly contains buttons I make for fluffmoth's Free Tiny Identity Buttons thread, which I currently host on here, and occasionally some other stuff too
(Note: I changed this tag recently from 'flight rising' to 'fract flight rising' to reflect the fact that most of what I use this tag for is to host images I make for myself and other users on the site - i.e., I don't make these posts with the intention of spreading them around. Just wanted to clarify that this was my own idea so people wouldn't think FR staff forced me to take the posts down or something, I dunno)
I also tend to tag fandom stuff with tags such as bleach, jjk, one piece, good omens, marvel (those are the main ones currently). And Bleach characters can have their own tags, so you can type in their first name for any fanart and the like that I've reblogged that feature them (except Harribel - she'll probably be under 'Harribel', not 'Tier' or 'Tia' - and Chad, who's under 'Chad').

Welcome to the 7th year of Angstober! We're delighted to unveil the prompts for this year of angsty, spooky fun. We've had over 1,090 works submitted to our AO3 collections over the past years. It's wonderful we've inspired that many works!
What is Angstober?
Angstober is a yearly October challenge with 31 angst-themed prompts to inspire you to create. The challenge is open to all sorts of creative work - writing, art, edits, whatever you want - in whatever medium you want. Original work or fanworks? Whatever you feel inspired for!
.
How do I take part?
Tag your works with #angstober or #angstober2026 and the day of the prompt (e.g., #day 01) to share on tumblr. Feel free to @ us directly in the post as well! To share your work on AO3, add it to the Angstober 2026 collection.
You can post your works whenever - early or late - and use as many or as few prompts as you feel inspired for! We'll do our best to reblog as many works to the @angstober blog as we can.
.
Are there any other rules or limitations?
Yes. No AI. No AI written texts or AI generated images. This is an event to celebrate creators, and we do not think AI generated material does that. Otherwise we do not limit what you can create in terms of content. Angst can include some darker topics. We just ask you tag your work appropriately.
.
Alternative prompts:
Not feeling a prompt? Wanting to do more? Switch it for one of our alternate prompts.
the last thing i watched was cloud atlas which has several main characters so i have lots of professional options. (including “sad gay composer” because boy howdy has ben whishaw ever found his niche.)

tagged by @linnorabeifong for a tag game of the following. new post so it’s not too long etc
🍳: maybe soft boiled for ramen purposes
🥩: gonna be real i was a vegetarian for 10+ years so i never got a taste for steak. i eat meat again but wont go out of my way for steak. sorry charlie
🥛: oat
🍺: been sober for two years this month! do enjoy a mocktail mule heheh
☕️: coffee <3
tagging @korrasamibottles @appalesbian @yellow-hues @soaking-wet-cat-punk and anybody else who’d like to!
milk: soy with sugar and some vanilla extract, or chocolate <3
Alcohol: damn how do I pick :( whisky’s up there, rum, certain kinds of port, biiiiiig baileys fan though that hardly counts and I love espresso martinis <3 But I’m not picky I’ll drink anything.
Eggs: scrambled or boiled, anything really I'm not picky with eggs
Steak: Well done, for reading this /j
Milk: The added vitamins one lmao
Alcohol: I don't drink, I mostly dislike the taste and I wouldn't want to make a bad habit out of it. I enjoy mocktails and non alcoholic beverages because I like to be included. #goodytwoshoes #breakingtheirishstereotypes
Warm drink: Tea with three spoonfuls of sugar or six sweetners and a LOT of milk, it is more milk than tea at this point. I call it monstrosity tea because every person I know hates it other than kids under 13.
Alcohol: Too sensitive to bitterness, to the point of not being able to swallow certain red wines at all. So it's gonna be coq au vin lmao (i.e. lit. 'rooster with wine', in which the wine is cooked as part of the sauce, and hence no longer contains alcohol lol. Delicious though)
alcohol: i am not legally allowed to drink yet but there is this one specific type of shot my parents let me try when they got super drunk at a hotel in georgia(state). it was watermelon flavored i think and it was one of the first alcoholic drinks i had ever tried (i was pretty young for drinking) and i remember it tasted really good. note dont do underage drinking like i used to its not good.

ahh, wholesome long-haired argos.. (this drawing took me a while, being a perfectionist helped me a bit, i guess.?) also allsssoo im really really happy with how this turned out. (IF THIS FLOPS i will be really sad lowk)
love seeing revisionism in the wild “free the nipple never meant you can walk around topless every where that’s still sexual harassment it just meant for like breastfeeding and stuff”no it literally means you should be able to walk around topless anywhere because get this. breasts aren’t fucking sexual organs.
I remember when I was about 12, I watched a show on TLC that followed people as they got somewhat uncommon medical procedures.
There was one episode with a trans woman getting different gender-affirming operations, including breast implants. It showed the procedure, and (what I found so fascinating that it's stuck with me for decades), as soon as the doctor put the implant in, a censor blur popped up on the nipple.
And you just know there was a meeting between the TLC lawyers and the editors and producers of the show to discuss what the difference was between a "man nipple" (can be shown) and a "woman nipple" (no no must obscure, 'tis naughty). And they decided that as soon as the implant goes in and the nipple has more mass behind it, that's the moment when it becomes a woman's nipple and must be hidden to comply with TV rules.
But it's the same nipple. On the same person. I know what it looks like; I just saw it. But TV and obscenity rules are rules, and the rules say woman nipple = sexual and therefore explicit, but man nipple = neutral, just fine.
"Free the Nipple" was calling out arbitrary bullshit like that, because someone just existing with their body parts should not be considered obscene, and the double standard that men can be topless but women can't is so blatantly ridiculous. All nipples are just nipples. If you get turned on or bothered by them, that's on you.

But seriously though. Learning to draw fat people will make you a much better artist. Understanding how skin and fat behaves and folds in certain poses, and being able to adapt complex poses to fit a fat body (as usually references are with thin models) will help you TREMENDOUSLY. Drawing fat being properly affected by gravity will aid you in ALL figure drawing in the future. Like if you have any sort of interest in drawing humanoid figures (AND furries) you really ought to learn how to draw fat of all kind.
