And then they turn around and invent a special category of oppression that apparently only affects people AMAB and act like that's not straight up MRA incel shit.

i would not necessarily call myself a radfem (again i'm not really an activist) but i may frequent blogs of those who do and their circles to share discussions. i may converse and share things from individuals whose opinions you may not agree with—this does not mean i agree with everything they say. i believe trans people have a right to exist, to be safe, and have access to healthcare. i do not believe i am a "terf" (though i do think that term is thrown around without concrete meaning) and am generally supportive of however a trans person identifies. however, i may share posts that are not, but i will try to tag them. that being said, i do believe there is a difference between how a trans person identifies and their biological sex. for example, i may refer to trans women as different than biological women, or may refer to afab trans people as biological women.

if you want to block me if my blog makes you uncomfortable, feel free to do so. i may add tags to watch out for here if certain language you may consider transphobic bothers you and you want to avoid it.

I lived as a trans man for 10 years before detransitioning and reconnecting with myself as a woman and a lesbian.

I'm against transition because it's medically harmful, not because I have any hate towards trans people.

Gender ideology disproportionately affects lesbian and bisexual women and tomboys, and causes us to become divorced from our community of women and disconnected from feminism. This leaves us vulnerable to all forms of abuse as well as psychological and medical distress.

Since this poll by @trans-exchange, which was added to one of my posts, was phrased in a way that conspicuously fails to detect people who hold the belief that trans women (not AFAB) are spared from being targeted by a distinct axis of "anti-AFAB-oppression" when that axis of oppression is not referred to as "misogyny", I'm making this poll as a complement.

My 'peak' came from the ISFF drama (as seems to be the case with many others), and lingering rage over the TME/TMA shit. I was searching one day for receipts on Tara Knight/bundleofstyx, and stumbled across a forum where others were talking about this stuff. I lingered for a while, talked to some women; the anonymity made me feel safe for the first time ever to talk freely about my feelings and experiences. I guiltily scrolled radblr for a while, and eventually after speaking with other women about the health and mental ramifications of being on T, I decided to just pull the trigger and say "fuck it, I can't do this shit anymore".

many of us are detransitioners or desisters, many of us spent years and years in some local "queer" communities. maybe that's just my bias and a pure coincidence, but when i hear horror stories from those times, trans men are literally never the perpetrators or aggressors in them.

we know how it feels to be so overwhelmed with society standards, misogyny and stereotypes that we would even reach for a rusty blade if it offered to take us out of this whirlpool of despair and hopelessness.

talking about your oppression makes you a TERF, and TERFs are the women that everyone in the community hates. we’re calling you a TERF because that justifies harassing and abusing you. if you focus on anything other than me, you’re the type of woman that deserves to be abused. you’re not even a woman, so you don’t get any language to talk about your oppression, other than the language i said is okay, and i will never say any language is okay.

i am the most oppressed, most important person in the world. no, you can’t focus on the irony of the fact that the most oppressed woman is actually male and the worst type of man to be is actually a female.

i'm female and i wholeheartedly believe in the solidarity between and liberation of all females, the eradication of the patriarchy, that females should be entitled to single sex spaces, that sex is real and gender is a social tool enforced by the patriarchy, etc. (to put it simply, for brevity's sake)

i use the label ftm for clarity, as that is the simplest way to describe myself to others on a surface level. i have medically transitioned and i don't intend to detransition but, that does not mean i'm not female because i am and i always will be. i will continue to advocate for all females, including gnc and transmasculine ones.
