Trans TMEs who were cafab cannot meaningfully "reclaim" femininity and effeminacy. This doesn't mean you can't be transmasc with feminine traits, but that it's politically irrelevant and inappropriate to frame your embrace of femininity as reclamation. You were given the privilege of embracing femininity your whole life without consequence.
We weren't fucking privileged for being able to "embrace" femininity. Femininity was forced on us from birth. We were forced to wear uncomfortable clothes, forced to wear makeup, forced to sit quietly instead of play and excersize, given worse education (if any education at all!). Forced to believe we only exist to be wives and mothers. Many are forced to wear head coverings or aren't allowed to be in public alone. Some still are literally kept as sex slaves from a horrendously young age and raped and impregnated repeatedly the second they hit puberty.
Being forced into femininity is not a fucking privilege its one of the major arms of misogyny as an oppressive force. I don't care that you're envious of our experiences or dysphoric about not being raised that way - that doesn't make it a privilege.
When we reclaim femininity we're reclaiming a form of expression through our own autonomy instead of it being used as a way to control us. We are actually fucking reclaiming it in the literal sense of the word. You can keep being jealous about it though!
