in hindsight, growing up as an aromantic person who didn't know aromanticism was a thing...it woulda been really easy for me to assume that something was wrong with me, that I was "broken" or "missing" some piece of humanity.

things to do for free/ real cheap: go to local museums, go to thrift stores and just browse, go to libraries, go to graveyards, walk around your cities downtown area, go to local events, meet strangers, give homeless people cash if you can afford it, make zines and hide them in crowded places.

I fear I’d be like. That feeling when you know you SHOULD be doing something productive, like work, and you WANT to be doing fun stuff that’s kind of productive, like hobbies, but instead it stuck scrolling on ur phone switching between three apps because the algorithms are all giving you straight bullshit and it isn’t even worth scrolling anymore, you’re just getting annoyed, and you’ve been in bed too long and woke up late so you feel too warm and uncomfortable and maybe even a little grimey, but getting up and doing something is still too much work so you’re considering moving to the floor and disassociating while listening to a yt video, but then you gotta find one worth disassociating to and there’s nothing new or unwatched from your favorite creators, so you resign yourself to listening to smth you only kind of care about while laying on the floor debating when it’s worth showering
