How it feels lately

Adorable tiny cousin! Maybe needs hiding lessons.

I'm trying to prove a point to some transphobic relatives. Back me up tumblr.

You don’t need to be sorry dear, you’re doing wonderfully. Don’t tell the Distortion but I’m very proud of what you’ve done. By putting spiders in its halls I was able to see inside of it. Now I’m able to keep watch easier.

All this to say, I cannot do everything within my own scope, especially not sever our new connection! Nobody's ever done that before! You know, I have one avatar, Michael Crew, who also tried escaping the Fears! He was haunted by The Spiral for years, but it only stopped on the night he devoted himself to me!

Oooh that’s a very interesting question. The Extinction is certainly a difficult concept for me to grasp in how it’s in the process of forming. I definitely believe it is a distinct power from the End with it being about rapid change and the finality of existence as we know it instead of the finality of the self. I certainly fear rapid and unstoppable change as I imagine many do. I’m not sure exactly what thoughts on the extinction you’re looking for but I would be very interested to hear about the theory you mentioned and answer more specific questions!

My mother's theory is that the small form of the Extinction is more or less - "I wrecked it, and it's my fault, and I can never ever fix it." And this at every level - not just the end of the world but every little thing you ever wreck irrevocably and know in your heart you are at fault for and *have to now live in the aftermath of having wrecked.* That's the small form of the same Fear as the Extinction - or that's one theory, anyway.
